42mm SGS vs Microsoft band
I ordered my Apple Watch at xx:15:08, according to Apple Support. In the meantime I decided to try a Microsoft Band. I ordered the Apple Sport on purpose because I want a watch that I can wear to work, to the gym, and use when I run. I also wanted a watch to track my daily activities. I also like the notification features of email, phone calls, and text messages on my wrist; it's pretty cool that you can drive get a vibration, twist your wrist and preview the email, text, or see who's calling.
Day 4 of Microsoft Band (which works with Apple, MS Phones, and Android phones); very smart idea, I know, I know, they have to. The Band works very well, and the application you download from the Apple Store is very well put together. I went to the gym this morning and spent 1 hour on the stair master machine. The Band tracked my heart rate and determined my peaks, lows, calories burned, fats/carbs burned, and fitness benefit.
I know I'm close to getting my Apple Watch (probably 27 May 🙂), but I'm seriously considering keeping the Band and selling the watch on eBay. The Band does an excellent job tracking my heart rate, monitoring sleep patterns (average so far 91% efficiency), and integrates with Mapmyrun and Myfitnesspal perfectly.
You can also add twitter (/yawn), Facebook (if i were 10), Starbucks (hmmm), and many other social media applications to the band.
I'm not an MS Fan Boy, but while I wait it's a viable alternative if it meets your needs; and they're available. I figure I can return/replace every 12-13 days until my Apple Watch arrives.🙂

clearly knew otherwise. That's what has dented consumer confidence and rightly so. We feel a little misled. People righteously declaring that customers should be patient are missing that very real point.
