I think it's become clear that this isn't necessarily the case. The confirmation emails are close, but not exactly the order they got into Apple's system. All sorts of issues could explain it. There seem to be a few outliers, too, though of course some could have misreported.

as one still watching for movement, I'm half expecting a surprise rush of movement if any. I have an 04 confirm email, and now after chat with apple Rep, I found out it wasn't in until xx:05.08.
Also after other pre orders; this hasn't been like the iphone, and can't quite be a reference, why that is, is a mystery.

The first in first out thing is clearly not quite right. I'm not sure how they are getting their order lineup but hopefully we will all see our watches soon.

I'm sure it has a lot to do with logistics and the location of where yours will be shipping.

I had been hearing people say email time could be different than actual order time. I talked with an apple rep and found that my email time (xx:04:40) was pretty close to actual time (xx:04:36)
