Just got mine as well. The box is way heavier than you'd think for a watch. Quick review: Looks great, works great, worth the wait.
Hang in there to everyone still waiting!

Not me. Order time was xx:15:19 on that night. My card was attempted to be charged yesterday (Monday) about 9am, that charge was blocked because of my card's stupid fraud protection, I called and at about 10am, the transaction was authorized. After being authorized, it went back to processing and the card has not been charged yet. I really don't know what to think about this, but so much for Apple's "people will receive their watches in the sequence that they were ordered." I was completely skipped over by the wave I should have been in, and I really should have had my watch today.
Did anyone else have this problem with their card blocking the transaction and now having to wait even longer?

This thread has been great to follow. Lot's of humor and entertainment.
Now that a lot of people have received their watches, I feel like one of the last "nerds" at the party, waiting for his ride, while all of the "cool kids" have already left.![]()
at xx:18:13 you are still one of the cool kids....
I'm at xx:33 trying to figure out if there is any way to calculate when they will get to my order. As soon as the wave this week is done obsessing over when the UPS truck will roll down the street and posting the obligatory 'here it is on my wrist' picture those remaining can get back to the business of watching planes and guessing when the next wave will hit and what time period it will cover. It is going to get real interesting because the May 29 - June 11 delivery group spans a very large ordering window. I'm hoping that means mine will beat May 29.
And with the in-store purchase launch of June a lot of us are speculating if we stayed up all night (us east coasters) on April 10 and then patiently waited 6 weeks only to have someone walk in an Apple store with absolutely no planning and get a watch before us. Well if that scenario happens this thread will get lively
Also should we start a 42mm Space Grey May 29 - June 11 thread?
I was shocked at how heavy it was. Was worried that the watch was going to be heavier than I thought...but I took the watch and charger out and the box is still ridiculously heavy. The box is way heavier than you'd think for a watch.!
Totally get your point, but obviously that is the credit Card's fault and not Apple's...but you clearly know that.My problem with it is that I'm essentially being punished for having fraud protection on my credit card. In all honesty, fraud protection does absolutely nothing for me, because if fraud is committed on my card, why should I care? It most likely wasn't my fault. In the end, the credit card company won't bill me for the fraudulent charges. Fraud protection saves the credit card company money by preventing them from having to pay for things their actual cardholders didn't buy. It does absolutely nothing for the cardholder, so I don't really understand why it's advertised as being beneficial. I couldn't care less if the credit card company has to pay for fraudulent charges, but I do care if their efforts to prevent doing so hold up my life and the business transactions I have in place to better my life.
Oh yeah! Finally arrived by UPS! I am so glad the wait is over. It is just as awesome as I remember from the try-on. As much as the wait sucked, I'm glad I got this model! Good luck to everyone else waiting. Hopefully everyone will have this awesome watch on their wrist soon!

Personally, I have been thrilled with Fraud Protection algorithms that Credit Card companies employ, because they have caught fraudulent activity even when I can't fathom how they figured out it wasn't me. Yes, I have been stopped on legit actions a few times and it is a pain, but not nearly the pain of going through the process of reporting fraud charges and getting it straightened out with the CC company after the fact.
I'm in the May 29-Jun 11 group. Someone on the iMore forums said 7 planes came in today. 5 went to Louisville. 2 went someplace else. How they know, I'm not sure.
Are people getting charged this evening? I see people recently on the spreadsheet for May 29th - June 11th charged and shipped. Was all processing this afternoon. Course no one added any ddates when they were charge. I wonder if someone is screwing around with the sheet again?
Watch arrived...set up not as easy as they make it..took several tries..made me change my apple ID for some reason, then had to change it multiple times on other apps/icloud...played with getting the right watch face...set up activity..just downloaded version 1.01...life is good despite the bumps. Hope those waiting are not waiting long!!! Bye to all you fellow-May 13-to-27'ers. Moving' on once and for all from this thread. Cheers and happy days
I saw the 5 planes http://flightaware.com/live/findflight?origin=PANC&destination=KSDF never saw the other 2
Hold on a sec.
Apple is delivering watches in order. You can't seriously be blaming them for your credit card companies problems. Obviously it may have been a mistake by your credit card company, but imagine if Apple had to hold up all shipments to let people fix their cards in time...and of course, there are going to be those that don't fix and ultimately lose it.
My guess is that when your card gets declined, they pull you out of order until you fix it...and then they put you at the front of the next batch. They likely had run through the current batch in the time it took you to fix it.
I've been part of pre-orders for other companies where if your CC gets blocked or there is an error in the number, your order is completely cancelled with no second chances.
I will happily admit I have no friggin idea how Apple Pay works for payment for apple online products, so you got me there.Haha, or some of us used Apple Pay, then after waiting a couple weeks, updated our iPhone. To find that invalidating Apple Pay on a device revokes the device id used for charges. So when Apple goes to charge you for the Watch, the charge bounces because that device id is no longer valid. Ironic, no?![]()
