00:06:04 in Baltimore, charged last night and preparing for shipping. I hope all of the 03's and 04's and most of the 05's were charged before me. I was in the 5/13-5/27 delivery group. I stopped obsessing over my watch's delivery while watching the riots downtown and it ships. I guess its true what they say about a watched pot.

I've been thinking a lot about some friends I have in the Baltimore area the past few days. I hope everyone is as safe as they can be.

Because of issues I had getting on the Apple site I didn't get my 42mm SG sport ordered until xx:15 but I have the same May 13 - May 2 window - based on others I am seeing, some with xx:08 getting shipping notices I hope to get something this week. Are there others that have a xx:15 or later?

I'm XX:14 DFW, still nothing

Dreams do come true! I swear, I had my 3rd dream about my Watch overnight. It was about me checking my phone and it said prepared for shipment. I woke up about 2 minutes ago, checked the order status and lo and behold, preparing for shipment!
No EOD, order confirmation was a :05, outside of Denver. Hope all of your dreams come true as well!

I almost never have dreams like this. But I had TWO last night where I saw that I was charged on my credit card. Both times I woke up to check, and both times there was no charge.

The Buzzkill continues. I was really losing enthusiasm until I listened to the latest iMore podcast this morning on the way to work. Glowing reviews. I'm almost fully re-energized. This waiting sucks though.

It's become fairly obvious that location and time of order are not the primary factors in determining when you will get your shipment. I do wish Apple would elucidate the situation.

Conf email 3:05:50 EDT
NYC
Just changed to Preparing for Shipping

I also ordered a 32 which has a email time of 3:06. That is still processing.

I could not agree more....it seems like they are needing to do a lot of things to make the apple community feel like they are not getting shafted. The first of which is just come out and own the issue and share what happened. People are more likely to ease frustration if they are told facts and details

Finally found the exact second that I got my confirmation email...it was 2:08.10 Central Standard Time...Glad to see I'm in the early 8's. I would have had my watch by now I'm sure, but when I hit order, my address wasn't right. There was some sort of glitch and instead of saying Dr. for drive...it said something like Dhu. Weird.

Well what happened is that they didn't produce enough supply quickly enough before the "launch" date. I think we're all aware of that. But what we really don't understand is why the watches are being shipped in such a seemingly random order.

If they were being shipped in order of preorder time, then it would be perfectly easy to sit and wait for your time. If you had a xx:07 time and you saw xx:06's being charged you could be certain that your time in line would be coming soon. But not so. It's all over the map.

I do think it comes down to region and then time. If you think about it, they are shipping pallets of these watches to a region, then from there they are shipping watches in order of which the order was placed. If there is a big gap between people who were quoted in the first window to the 2nd window you might see people with later times getting their watches before people with earlier times in a different region.

But that's not true. I live in NYC and have a xx:05:47 time. My card was charged on Monday, but there was at least one xx:06 also in NYC with the same space gray model charged before me, and I know of several xx:04's and xx:05's in NYC which were only just charged today or still haven't been charged at all.

My friend one county over in PA is getting his today, he ordered 12 seconds after me. :p I'm still processing, not charged.

Well I am sure there are a few outliers here and there but from all my years studying and working in supply chain that is the most logical conclusion I can come up with. Either that or Apple is picking favorites.

I dreamed about the Watch, too! I dreamed that every single person in my dream was wearing the 42mm SG, but I still hadn't gotten mine. #xx16probs (Still no charges or order status changes.)

Like you said, we all know the supply issue...

However, why not do something like they do for in store pick up for iphones, etc, by showing what stores have supply. Instead show what watches are shipping sooner than others (appears to be gray sport), but they have to have these numbers somewhere and should just share it with everyone, or release a statement that it is not being done by email confirmation time.

Something is odd when the times seem to be very hit or miss (both by region and time) as to when you are getting charged...when is first come first serve not the case?

Apple seems to have lost its control when it comes to pre orders, the site never comes up, it does not often work properly and kills chances of launch day delivers

Long time lurker, first time poster. (Not trying to troll)

42mm SG BSB
Ordered 4/10 confirmation email xx:04 MT

Prepped for shipment and charged this am!!!!

Denver

I've finally been charged!! Of course it's a day too late. On Friday morning I leave for the airport and I'm away for 10 days. If it had happened yesterday I might (might) have had the watch before I go but the chances of it being delivered before 9am on Friday are slim to nil

12:04:53. Expecting something any second now...

This is my last week of work and I'd like to have it delivered to my house if it's any later than Friday delivery. If I don't see movement today I will change the shipping back to my home address. If it ships today I'll hope it arrives Friday.

I have to disagree. Yesterday, someone shipping to my same area with a later confirmation time got charged and is now shipping. I have seen no movement on my order. It does seem pretty random.
