Based off others' experiences in the forum, if you were charged this morning, it will ship out overnight tonight, and be delivered Thursday. And, of course you can always ask UPS to hold it for you and go pick it up rather than waiting for it to be delivered.
Aw yeah, my watch just arrived at the UPS customer center. Going to pick it up now! I guess this is goodbye forever to this thread!
By the way, if any of you are thinking of having your package held for pickup when you won't be home, make sure you have it held at an official UPS "customer center" and not a UPS Store, because the customer centers will receive it the morning of the delivery date whereas the stores will delay delivery by a day or two.

I wouldn't count on this week. I'm xx:14 and I think at best by the end of next week. The xx:08 orders were Canada. Just this morning we topped xx:06 is the US, so still some to go until we make it. But I think we are starting to get out of the big bulk of immediately placed orders and the rest of us that were slow will go a little faster.
Definitely good to know! I was planning on holding at a Store, but I will be driving an additional 30 minutes just to get my Watch earlier at a Customer Center (if my order ever leaves Processing Items status).

if your order (CC charged and UPS shipping label created) make the UPS' overnight (Air Saver) cut off time, you will receive the watch the next day. Good luck.
I agree. I feel like there was a heavy, heavy concentration of buyers at the earlier times, so coupled with fewer later buyers and faster production, Watches should be going out much more quickly after these early buyers get their Watches.
I hope you're right about the end of next week but the reality may be that it'll only be a day or so before the May 13-27 time that the original order was slotted for. Let's hope I'm being too pessimistic. If Apple was way off in what they had thought the need was going to be, I don't know how much faster they can produce these watches and get them shipped out in bulk. It just seems so agonizingly slow.
Yeah, true. Holding at a UPS 'Store' is similar to sending the item to home and having it there for a day. In other words, it takes the sametime frame for UPS to deliver the item to UPS store or residence delivery. Best bet is to have the item 'hold' at 'Customer Center' for pickup. And most of the customer centers are opened at 7AM (and the items reach there around 5AM). Residential deliveries are scheduled anytime during the day and item can be delivered at almost end of day too. Mine got delivered at 6:08PM, whereas it was out for delivery at 7:59AM

True, there is an option for that. [I got the same update from UPS customer care rep]. I did update mine to reflect my name as it was in Apple order, but it didn't work for me. I still some orders pending with Apple in the same name, let me wait and see if they trigger the UPS notice or not.

Yep XX:16 here......looks like it's going to be a while...
Same, XX:16 I'm in PA. Really hoping a big shipment comes through or something and all of you :04, :05, :06, etc. get your watches so the REALLY late (XX:15+) people can see some movement.
I think when you get the UPS tracking information, you can go in MyUPS (or whatever it's called) and request that it be held at a UPS location for pickup
Well, as late as our shipments may come, at least we will still get our Watches before the June people. Well, hopefully...
Once you get the tracking number, if you have MyUPS just log in and do it from the site. Otherwise just call/chat with their customer service.
But when I got my tracking number, nothing showed up on the UPS site for several hours. So keep in mind that they can't change the delivery instructions until they actually receive the package in their delivery network and your tracking number starts working.

Exactly! It seems that the vast majority of people had xx:03/04/05. Then a decent amount of 06-10 and after that its pretty slim pickings. I can feel it in my bones!
I hope so too! But next Friday would be the 8th of May which would almost be at the beginning of the window. In the 5 days since launch they have filled the first 5 minutes (almost). It really seems like much less people report having a later time so I think its possible we don't have THAT much longer!
You know I've been trying to keep a positive attitude on this whole thing but man it stings to see people with later confirmations get their watches before you...I'm :05:14 and I've seen quite a few people get charged and shipped already....It's not like I live in the boonies or anything...Miami, FL!...oh well...I feel for the :04's that are still waiting...trying to keep the faith here guys...lol
