You're not alone. Made the mistake of waiting for the store to come online rather than use the iPhone app because I was using a gift card. Didn't know you could switch payment method after placing the order. Lesson learned.

I'm xx:13, in Los Angeles.

The thing that's killing me is reading that stupid Maxfield is getting orders out to people almost overnight, while those of us that preordered wait.

Anyone who says Ahrendts has no responsibility in this disastrous launch isn't accounting for this retail strategy of giving priority to people who buy through the few select fashion boutiques.

I hope this is a one-time mistake, and not a new way of business for Apple. As a loyal customer of 20+ years who buys just about everything they make, this is the first time I've been frustrated with an order. It's like Apple became the popular kid all of the sudden and has forgotten who its real friends are ... our regular purchases through the years, especially the "dark" years are what kept them in business and funded the R&D that has put them in the position they enjoy today.

I'm not nearly as worked up about it as it may sound, but I am concerned that one of the brands I rely on the most both professionally and personally is losing its focus on its core customer base.

I miss the early order people. They were much more passionate. Not one of you newbies has posted that there are a bunch of planes on their way. Be in Louisville by 1:30am.

Just got off of the phone with apple (after I saw the apple online charge on my card) and was told "the good news is your status is getting ready to change"

How long after you where charged for AppleCare did you get charged for the watch?
 
I'm screech, stuck here in high school while all the people I was hanging with before have all moved up to the show off your watch thread....

Unfortunately, I'm in the Greater LA (Riverside) area so driving 2 and a half hours in to LA and 2 and a half back (two times) isn't a possibility for me (I like the watch but not enough to drive 10 hours total). The 91 is horrible. :) If anyone else is closer to the LA area it seems like that's a much better option than having to check for status updates every 2 minutes. ;)

Yes, it shipped from Harrisburg late yesterday and was delivered in NYC this afternoon.

And while your watch is most likely in Harrisburg now, I don't think they can dive into the packages and find yours. Stay strong -- it will be there tomorrow!

OH, if you have MyUPS or whatever it's called, I believe you can ask them to hold it for you at your nearest distribution center and pick it up first thing tomorrow.

I'm an :04 in illinios and i just got charged this morning. I hate to be a downer but probably at least until next week? I figure it took a week to get through to the :05's so maybe by end of week next?

I'm 5 seconds behind you, shipping to the Loop. Nothing yet, I'm expecting movement Tuesday night for Wednesday at the earliest. But I'd love to be wrong on the short side :)

Chatted with Apple and they said that since I have a preauth, they normally see a shipment soon. I'm going on 60 hours since I had my preauth charge without a tracking number.

Apple says my order time was xx:09:40. Email is xx:09:44. San Fran.

My pre-authorization went through on the 11th so I figure that puts me somewhere around 458 hours...

Ah. I'm sorry. I was in the same situation as you and usually I thought driving from the valley to Beverly Hills is a waste of time... but for the watch I put it all on the line. LMAO.

I still have a white 42 SB waiting and stuck on May 14-20. I just wanted one now.

I'm still surprised they came through so fast and why they're getting fulfilled first before you guys. It doesn't make sense and I'm sorry again.

I live South Loop and I am definitely not gonna let my Building's Package Room folks lay their hands :( on my Watch Package. Do you know where the nearest UPS center where I can request it to be held (after it ships...hopefully next week :D ).

Thanks for the tip. How long did you have to wait in line to get in? Did they have any of the other models (modern buckle)? Thanks again!!

Yeah, it sounds like once people are actually charged it has only been a day or two before their watches are delivered. I was just attempting to be humorous... not my best quality.
 
My order showed preparing for shipment this morning, but hasn't changed to shipped yet. Should i be worried about not receiving my watch tomorrow?
