I think they are suggesting that the product will be available to ship in 4-6 business days, and delivered 2 business days after it ships.

Then they should clearly say that. Honestly, I'm even more annoyed now, my order is 1) delayed yet again (what happened to May 29th?) and 2) being delivered the exact date range when I'm out of town. Apple, you guys can go to hell.

new wave? and your order time?

Mine just changed too. Was 5/29-6/11 and now it's 6/3-6/5. I ordered around 7am ET on 4/10. I guess the change is fine because it's still within the window they gave me a month ago, but I was hoping it would arrive closer to 5/29. Several other folks I had talked to said they got their watches ~10 days earlier that the earliest date in their projected delivery window. Thought they were increasing production and inventory even more since then, I guess not as much.

Clearly the worst supply chain mess I have seen and I have been in/around retailers for 25 years. Have sold to them and been part of a retail organization myself.

They make it pretty clear.

Phone Ships between two sets of dates.

Phone delivers between a different two sets of dates.

And there's no "delay" Even if they didn't change the dates, it would still ship this week and arrive next.

Also Apple didn't make you go out of town. So...

My May 29 - Jun 11 got changed to Jun 3 - 5 this afternoon. I ordered at 8:28PM ET ON 04/10

A bit bummed I won't have it for this weekend but at least it's not into the following weekend like Jun 11 was

"Delayed yet again"? (besides the obvious "again" which assumes somehow you have faced multiple delays, which I don't think you have)...I'm still trying to wrap my head around that a change from May 29-June 11 to June 3-5 is a delay. "What happened to May 29th?".. Where exactly is your confirmation from Apple that you would get it by May 29th?
Apple originally gave a window of time. June 3-5 is well within that window (not to mention now a more narrow window). And now 6 days sooner than June 11th. A reminder that June 11th was really the only promised date in this date range.

Must be easier to say that, knowing that your watch is currently on the way, eh commad? It's just some ranting. I'm over it.

Well summarized . The glass could have been " half empty " if we it was June 11 . Now it is " half full " . And it will be possibly be in your hands before June 5 . So Cheers !!!

I got June 3-5 a few minutes ago, but then they changed it to June 4-8.

That looks like " fine tuning "

Just got my shipping date updated!

4-6 business Days (Delivers June 4-6)

Ordered at 11:38am Pacific time on 4/10

42mm Space Gray Apple Watch Sport.

Must be nice to know that your watch is currently on the way, eh commad?

For me that doesn't make a difference. Find one post I have made on this forum of me complaining about "delays" or "having to wait" or "this is not fair".
I posted last week (long before I had any inclination that my watch would be on it's way) a new thread about how I thought the orders would catch up (because there were a lot of posts about people claiming that because Apple couldn't get out of the first 20 minutes, that there was no way they would meet their promises)... and I thought that people would definitely be getting their watches by the promised date ranges, if not sooner. So far, I think that has been the case.
And I also stated that I could easily wait a couple of more weeks, because it is just a watch. I stand by my comments, regardless of the status of my order.

Eh, the rational side of me more or less agrees with you. Just angry about this whole process.

Like I posted before, I totally get the frustrations, it's normal. But come on, nobody has been tricked here. I have been guilty of reading threads everyday and checking my order status too, but that is because I am kind of a geek with this stuff and I just can't wait to have a new product. But I CAN WAIT , and I realize it's really not that important of a thing. And I realize that getting angry about it is not really a good use of life (and I just want to make it clear that I am not judging anyone, because I have been guilty of similar reactions in the past, but I just hate to see people all freaked out over nothing). I see people talking about how they have called Apple and emailed executives, etc. Getting all worked up. And if Apple had been shipping out product past promised dates or date ranges, then I could understand that a little more. But they haven't. Sure, it would have been great if they had the supply to fill everyones orders immediately, but they didn't (a problem I am sure will be improved on in future releases). That is just the reality of the situation.

Ordered 6:05 CDT 4/10

Processing Items Available to ship: 4-6 business days

How long after changing to PFS did you get a shipment notification?

It went to PFS early Monday morning. So one day.

UPS can't locate my tracking number. I may be giving them a call cause I want them to hold it for me at the customer center.

It's been asked before so I apologize...but how long after preparing for shipment to you guys receive the shipping notification?

Mine updated to PFS on Saturday, got shipment notification late yesterday (Monday) for delivery Wednesday. Probably different for me due to the long holiday weekend.

I just still cannot for the life of me understand why it needs to take 52-54 days to get a pre-order to a customer. On some level, you have to see how that's ridiculous, right? How Apple could have and should have prepared better?
