When you get charged does Apple send you a email letting you know status, or is everyone just checking their bank records for a transaction?
I paid with paypal on 4/20. While using the paypal app for iphone, I look under all activity and scroll down to the 20th and it shows charge to Apple with a "pending" status. Alternatively, you can go to paypal.com, but the pending order will only show if you use the "classic view" or whatever they call it. Look for the link at the bottom of the page.
I do not know what happens when the money is actually charged, since my 4/20 order for a SG 42mm has not been charged or changed from processing. Hope this helps.
On both of my orders that have shipped, I did not receive a notification when it changed to "Preparing for Shipment." This is also when I was charged.
In both cases, it took about 12 hours for Apple to email me that it had been shipped, and then 1-2 hours later, I received an email from UPS My Choice indicating that there was a package to be delivered from "AI."
Order is still processing with a delivery date of May 29-June 11. I received my order confirmation about an hour and 20 minutes after preorders launched.
The latest I have seen is XX:18:50, I think there will be another wave though soon from the amount of activity in the sky and flights from ShenZhen.
I just checked the tracking sheet and it says that my

Looking at the spreadsheet(s), the number of orders entered for each minute seems to drop off drastically after the 18 minute mark. Whereas there are 10+ orders in each minute up to 18, there only seem to be 1-2 orders per minute starting at the 19th minute.
I wonder if this is indicative of the fact that actual orders (since we only see a very small subset here) also dropped off around the same time, or if the majority of people that ordered starting around 20 minutes aren't on the forum and updating their information on the spreadsheets?
It sure seems logical that after 15-20 minutes, the volume of orders would start to drop off. That, mixed with the fact that production seems to really be ramped up, would certainly seem to suggests the each new wave will cover more and more time!

I guess misery loves company! I am shocked that it's been 6 weeks and just 1 update a few weeks back changing the "Delivers:" "June" to "29 May, 2015 - 11 Jun, 2015, Standard Shipping". Ironically I ordered a Watch 38mm SS w/ WSB for my wife on 5/17 and it's on the truck for delivery today!
Still waiting for my Watch Sport 42mm SG w/ BSB that was confirmed ordered 4/10/15 at 8:16 am. Scary part is, so many of you ordered hours before me and no update for you either!
I am a Machole as my friends call me and rightfully so I have just about everything Apple has to offer and have been an early adopter since the iPod won the invention of the year back in 2000. This is definitely trying my patience!
