What many don't realize is that the ceramic cases are already slightly larger (~45mm) than the metal cases (~44mm).

I’m with you on that…the bigger the screen the better.

don't judge me.... I wear a Diesel 55mm watch on a daily basis, like the one below.... can't stand small watches.(anything under 50mm) My wrist is just under 8.5 inches. When I got the 55mm watch, the strap was too short and I had to order a 9-inch strap.

on second thought... judge away, what do I care? I love this watch!!!

(if I could get away with it, I would wear my iPhone SE(1st gen) on my wrist as a giant watch!) :)

I just hope it uses the same bands/adapters as the 44. I probably have more money in bands than in the watch itself

LOL! Small wrist and big watch. Hate seeing that. You know that is UGLY to see on people? Jesus!

If the larger screen means significant battery life increase, that is fine by me. If not, I don't really see the point.
^^^THIS

With flat edges and a boxy design, surely they can increase the display area without increasing the physical size of the case.

In any case, I don’t really like the boxy design - Wouldn’t they dig into your wrist because of the sharp edges?

Hopefully the official release will look better than the fake clones that are currently on the front page.

not my actual arm... picture from a website that still sells the same watch. :)

my actual arm.... too hairy and too large...

(for reference, I'm a big fat guy and extremely overweight.... :( 6'4, 227 pounds... shoe size 14... so 55mm watch doesn't actually feel that big on my wrist)

Lol, yea I was being facetious

Totally. I’m a runner and my 44mm Series 6 barely makes it to 11pm without dying.

I hope the big watches get better battery life like the bigger phones. More complications is a bonus.

The bigger Watch already has better battery life. Even if it isn‘t stated in the official specs.
