All the ones I know do…Apple needs to be at least 46 min for them.

In that case with that small sample size, you can’t really make sweeping statements like the one you made. Sure, maybe Apple could offer a larger size, but men and women have different tastes and both genders wear larger watches and jewellery. A lot of men also wear the 40mm Apple Watch, I know I do and quite a few of my friends and colleagues do too. Size is taste driven, not dictated by the gender of the person.

How do you know? Keep the small stuff.

I happen to have met plenty men wearing the existing Apple Watches with no problem to their ego.

If you need oversized stuff, speak for yourself.

PS: just like any apple product, the Apple Watch is a unisex product and not aimed at a specific gender. Just get the display size you like.

I’d like to see a Apple men’s line developed to 46/48 mm round like Tag and other lines only more compatible to Apple phone…as of now Tag is great looking men’s watch but doesn’t really work well with Apple more with Android…I ended up taking mine back.

don't judge me.... I wear a Diesel 55mm watch on a daily basis, like the one below.... can't stand small watches.(anything under 50mm) My wrist is just under 8.5 inches. When I got the 55mm watch, the strap was too short and I had to order a 9-inch strap.

on second thought... judge away, what do I care? I love this watch!!!

(if I could get away with it, I would wear my iPhone SE(1st gen) on my wrist as a giant watch!) :)

Yea this would be good men’s size, only smart watch from Apple

I happen to shop at men's stores...hopefully Apple will make a bigger watch for men, like other vendors that carry men's lines...48mm round would be great for men.

Designed by men, for men, worn by men, advertised by men, appealing to men, with materials that smell of men with extra portions of men, men, men. Masculine males unite. Man power. Men…

It is just logical to want as large of a screen as possible on any device so you can actually see those tiny digits and letters in some of the tiny complications. They should make 3 sizes. 40, 44, and 48mm. This way everyone will be happy. I would personally go up to 50-52 mm. Also wish they would make it way thicker so they can put triple the battery size. The watch needs to last at least 3-5 days with AOD. Also, add medium low battery mode where you could see your watch face of choice but only time and date, nothing else running. That way extend battery to 7-10 days if needed with the refresh rate of 60 seconds. Current battery life is a joke on S5 or S6 with AOD. Hardly lasts 18-24 hours and way less with cellular on in bad reception area with no phone. Hardly could go 8-10 hours.

This thread fills me with the happiest. I was worried, so I checked my wrist, yup, I got the biggest watch Apple had at the time. Still keep my man card!

Didn't know I wasn't a "real man" for wearing a 38mm hand-me-down series 3, or even more so for the fact that my main(non-Apple daily wear) watch is 36mm and has always been sold and marketed as a men's watch.

I guess I'm really turning in my man card when I wear a 32mm or smaller vintage watch.

The "gigantic watch" fad for men's wristwatches is a relatively recent phenomenon...there are a lot of timeless classics still in production from the big brands that are 42mm and under. The Speedmaster is 42mm and the Submariner is 40mm. The Datejust, which is what I wear, is 36mm.

the Speedmaster is 42mm? You’re telling me they sent women to the moon? Outrageous.

No you didn’t read the memo it seems. That’s all for women now. If you have the watch in and can still glimpse at your risk somehow, you must by define female.

Apple, the undisputed sales leader in this field, will now abandon their unisex sales strategy to make gender specific models in order to repeat the success of the competition.

Just like the 12.9” iPad or the iPhone 12 Pro Max are of course men’s devices.
