Hello everyone! :) Which one do you think fits me better? It's just about the size, not the color (if I choose the bigger one I propably won't keep the red but might switch to another 45, maybe green).

Concerns with the 45: Somehow I still sometimes have the feeling it's more "in the way/bumbing into things" if you what I mean. Wearing it for sleep tracking and tracking overall mainly. Looking too big.

Concerns with the 41: Maybe getting annoyed by the small screen/usability.

Be nice. Thank you. :D

Perfectly visible in the second picture. Get the 45 mm. The 41 looks a bit measly (sorry..). 45 is your perfect size.

And give the band somewhat air or room. There are a lot who are wearing it too narrow, wich again looks strange to me. It is perfect, if the watch wiggles a bit. (...i have been told that by a watchmaker)

Thanks. What exactly is visible there? Just trying to understand.

Yeah when I saw the picture I realized I should give it more room. :)

The answer to your question is visible there. The 45 mm looks perfect on your wrist :)
+ more room
+ maybe a somewhat heavier band
= the perfect look

I'd say 45mm without a doubt

Thank everyone for the replies. I can't believe there is really nobody in the 41 camp. Makes it really kinda hard for me, because what I like about the smaller one is the subtle stlye that really not does not get in the way at all. One should propably decisions on others' opinions but so many people pointing to 45 it makes you think. :)

Does anyone happen to have some real world comparison experience? Like going from 41 to 45 or vice versa for a a certain reason?

I'll go against the trend and say personally I think the 41mm looks more elegant on you. I switched to a 41mm from a 44mm this year, having worn the larger version all the way back to a 42mm series 0. I love the smaller size, and won't be going back. As you say, it's more subtle on the wrist, which I much prefer the look of. And with the bezel size changes the 41mm is barely any different to the 44mm I had before in terms of screen real estate. I've never once wished I had a bigger screen.

Thanks for the input. :) I think I might(!) be more comfortable with the 41 in public. I'm an an anti-show-off type. Not saying that everyone with a bigger watch is trying to show off or that's it totally wrong to show something if you like it. Just want to make clear where I'm coming from on the personality side. And it might be more comfortable while sleeping and while doing sports.

But I'll test out both for a couple of days. Maybe the bigger one will grow on me. It has its charme. :)

I sport the 41 MM series 8 GPS only for myself, it was a replacement of my original Apple Watch. I got 7 years of daily use out of the original. Actually it is a personal subjective manner of what size you like and not what others say. I asm still looking around for the wife but it will be a smaller as she is so small and tiny person. I figure a SE 40 MM will work just fine for her but it all depends on her. I probably get it as a Christmas gift if I can get away from her prying eyes

I'm in the 45 camp, but not because of how it looks on your wrist. Honestly, looks wise, I think that you will quickly forget the difference & will not notice it at all.

I love the smaller Apple Devices usually. I have an iPhone 13 mini, 12" MacBook, etc. When I bought my first Apple Watch, I went with the 38mm (I think that was the size at the time) Watch 2. But found that it was a little small for me when scribbling, clicking, etc. When I upgraded, I went to the larger size, and have stayed there ever since. I find the extra screen to be very helpful in navigating such a small device. Now, obviously the new small size (41mm) is almost as large as the large size (42mm) back then, so maybe it's not as big of a deal. But for me, the larger size = a more pleasant experience. Obviously YMMV.

I had a smaller series 0. Thought the larger size was obscene. But then I got the 44 series 4 and it was WAY more usable. I actually now have the ultra. I can assure you, you will adjust to whatever size and your wrists are by far a better fit for the 45. You just need to be comfortable with your own style.

Don’t delude yourself thinking that folks won’t notice a 41mm watch but would for some reason think a 45 mm watch is too ostentatious. That’s really not a thing. It’s an Apple Watch. They are super common.
