What do you guess will SNOW LEOPARD be offered to all in due time as a free update to Leopard users or will it be sold as a new OS ??
I need multi-core support.
I'll pay gladly.
I'll be quite happy if it adds a 10% decrease in boot time and nothing else.Regardless of what features it does/does not offer?
Definitely not free. And why would anyone think it would be? Apple is in business to make money last time I checked.
If it delivers all the promised features it will be well worth it anyway.
I'm trying to think of the last time Windows released a performance only update. Oh that's right - never.

I'm interested in seeing how this poll pans out.
So far the overwhelming expectation is that it will cost $ (I voted that way too).
Is this a microcosm of how Apple sees it's consumer market? Are we akin to Pavlov's Dogs? Every time Apple rings the new OS bell, we coming running with cash in hand?

I'm sure it will not be free, but it will not be a full 10.X update (cost wise). They may call it 10.6, but I can't see them charging the full amount for it. Probably a 50 dollar update.
Are people REALLY so cheap that they haven't been able to afford $129 every 18 MONTHS or so???????
Too much money?![]()
