Just checking in before I make a purchase.
How much should 4gb of RAM cost? (2x 2gb) ?

I'm about to upgrade my Macbook.

I'm talking to someone about buying theirs from their Macbook Pro, apparently it wasn't really used since they upgraded to 8gb right away.

It really depends on a number of factors I'd think. Here in the UK it seems to be £40 or so for a pair of 2x2GB SO-DIMMs. RAM prices tend to fluctuate quite a bit in my experience. So if you're in the US it sounds like $40-60 is about right.

Of course depending on the age of your mac the exact type of RAM you need may be more or less expensive depending.

i'm assuming it's 1067mhz, in which case it should be about $35. not really too much of a price difference in mhz anyway.
