I just saw this when I opened iTunes. Perhaps a little premature before an official announcement tomorrow?

Given that Apple gives you 4K rights to a 4K code that was redeemed in MA, they should technically know the Disney films in your collection that were redeemed in 4K in MA as well, therefore giving you 4K to those films.

I see it too. When you click on it the only icon is HD though. Would be cool if all those got an upgrade.
Yep. I'm hoping the graphic was released early, and the 4K versions will be available tomorrow after an official announcement on stage.

I'm fairly confident that 4K Disney movies will be exclusive to its own streaming platform (USP), but I'll happily be corrected on that.
No, 4K Disney movies are everywhere except for iTunes because Apple wouldn't allow them to charge more than HD prices.

Very nice for all fans if this is true! :) Maybe Apple are desperate for this due to the fact that the Disney streaming service is going to be so reasonably priced.
BUT surely, if they are talking about their bizarre Apple TV+ streaming service today would it really make sense to even mention Disney? I wouldn't have thought so in all honesty.

I can't believe that Apple would budge in relation to the pricing as all the other studios fell in line pretty quickly when the ATV 4K came out. More like Disney wanting to fall in line and have all studios having their films available in 4K as standard before Disney+ comes out.

True but they'll no doubt be charging £13.99 iTunes top tier price which I feel is wayyyyyyyyy too much for a stream/download. To me, it's a compressed file at the end of the day which hopefully gets better in time. (But hey, it's important to live in the now!) :)
Each to their own but I won't pay that price. £9.99 is my max for an iTunes film but the majority I manage to buy when they go on offer for £3.99.

I usually hang out for those inevitable price drops, however I’m not totally against spending £13.99 but depends on how much I want the film.
Using TopCashback you can get around £1 back on that purchase too.

dude, there are like 9 shows coming. 9 whole shows on launch. what other streaming service has more???

Yes but none that deserve my precious time watching. Seriously, WHY do people watch TV when life is so short and precious? Some people work all day and then sit at home on a night and watch the TV. I can't get my head around that. There's a whole world out there filled with travel, night classes, sport, education...

There is also a whole world of people where these things aren't options. People in hospitals, old age homes, people with disabilities, mobility issues, infirmities, physical restrictions ... TV can give them a window to worlds that are inaccessible otherwise. YouTube (pushing out a bit from just streaming/broadcast video) isn't just cute cat videos, there is great educational and informational content there.

I've recently seen some good networking videos by ThioJoe. Videos of organ recitals are hard to come by but there are a ton on Youtube. One that particularly impressed me was a Julliard trained classical organist/pianist with a mohawk and sequins (ok, a little like a cat video) who travels the world with a 2 million dollar touring organ. At 3:44 he is playing two pianos at the same time:

He'll be in our local concert hall next year and I'm planning to go. Would never have found him without TV.

The world has gone to hell, people bickering with politics and bringing each other down. TV is a way of escaping reality for awhile. The world is depressing now and even on here because people are negative.

Disney+ is now live in The Netherlands, and offering 4K content. Surely 4K Disney content on Apple TV is just a matter of time now.

Movie details on the desktop don't seem to show extensive details of a film, but the mobile application does.
