It does seem like this is the case as my phone has been held up in Louisville for over 24 hours now.

They are intentionally being held so that the local stations do not mistakenly deliver them too early. They will move in time for Fri delivery -- maybe Thurs.

My two iPhones just got to Louisville about 40 minutes ago.

It is possible that your iPhone has moved but missed a scan. That happened to both of mine. It missed the departure scan out of Alaska. I thought it was being held up there, then it just popped up as arrived in Louisville. I was hoping to get it tomorrow but everything looks on schedule for Friday. I hope it comes as early as possible!

Same. Mine arrived in Louisville at 9:28am YESTERDAY (10/11) and hasn't moved since. Darn Apple/UPS and their preparedness!

UPS was instructed to release on the 14th, they are doing exactly that.

They all should start moving on the 13th night and be at your region by early 14th for delivery.

Lets just hope the UPS dude wouldn't call in sick that day.

I'd be kinda pissed as a driver... knowing that they could've been spreading the load out over half the week, but instead now they're going to have to bust their asses to deliver a million packages in a single day. I don't know about UPS, but FedEx drivers are on a pretty tight leash with their delivery windows.
