I'm coming from the iPhone. I've held out long enough.

Actually the main reason* I'm upgrading is because of the 1080 camera. My wife is pregnant and we were looking in to a camcorder anyway. Believe me, I realize it pales in comparison as far as features go, but we'll always have it around. Coupled with a Lifeproof case, underwater 1080 should be fun (we live in Hawaii, so we'll be in the water a lot).

*also, I recently found out my wife sent 1000 texts last month. Our next bill will actually go down. 😱

I have gotten all the iPhones but the 3gs

I like to get a new phone every year and that is really the only reason for getting the new one every year but the 3gs year.

Are the people upgrading from iPhone 4 just paying that extra $250 or did they somehow get bumped up? I got my iPhone 4 on release and my upgrade date is Nov 25th. Seems absurd to pay $250 extra instead of waiting just one more month 😕

I still love my 3GS...I've never had a single problem with it since I got it on launch day. But I really need more space...I can't even download updates to my apps from the phone right now because I don't have enough space left. I think the 3GS is going to go to my mom, if she wants it.
