I really like the 5.5" model. I had 5.5" for the last year until switching to an SE before the IP7 announcement.

I forgot how nice it was to have the smaller size, and always felt that 3D touch was much more useful on the 4.7 due to its better single-hand operability. Probably will go with the IP7+ still, though. Hah.

The worse battery life, the inferior screen quality. The fact that I soon came to realise I had gotten used to the better screen real estate for web browsing etc and it all just felt so small after spending a year with a larger device.
The only reason I switched from the Plus was because I missed taking my phone out running. I've since gotten an Apple Watch so no longer take me phone with me on my runs.

This is why I am very hesitant to give up the size of my 6. I use it while running for music. I use my garmin watch to track stuff but I do like my music while running. I think the plus might be too big for that.
[doublepost=1473349879][/doublepost]I do use a battery case on my 6 currently so it is basically a plus model without the screen. I do take it out of that case for running purposes.

I was going to move from the 5.5 to the 4.7, but the camera on the 7 Plus is keeping me at the 5.5. Too incredible to pass up.

I had the 6 Plus and went down to the 4.7" 6S. My biggest concern was over the bending. I was one of the people that actually accidentally bent their 6 Plus. I was never able to pinpoint the exact moment when it happened but I always kept the phone in my front pants pocket and sitting down at my desk at work, a restaurant, to put on shoes, get in my Jeep or something like that put stress on the phone and it bent. After bending (and Apple replacing it), I got the in the habit of taking it out of my pocket when sitting down. When the S came out I wasn't confident the Plus would be an improvement with the bending so I opted for the 6S.

Now I (and my eyes) have gotten a year older and I could use the bigger screen. I also conditioned myself so well to take my phone out of my pocket I still do it today. I'm going back to the Plus with the 7.

I wanted to but I can't pass on the dual lens camera. Damn you Apple.

I also think for those that went with the + size at some point have "spoiled" their eyes. Would be tough to go back to a smaller screen for videos, web browsing etc.

If this was an edge to edge phone I'd go for the 5.5 all day, but its just a tad too uncomfortable to use with one hand...

Don't feel bad about the new camera setup if you do go with the 7. Both have the same main camera module with OIS. The difference is the plus comes with the additional 56mm module. This module is f2.8 versus the main one which is f1.8. At f2.8 and without OIS, it is limited in what it can do since the module is so small. This is why the optical zoom only works in bright light. For pictures taken in less than optimal light conditions, the plus falls back to using the main camera and any zooming is no longer optical. Macros taken at 2x also defaults to using the main module at 2x digital.
