I want exclusive features reserved for the big phone like I want power windows and a/c reserved for big cars. So not at all.

The 4.7 is the at my upper limit for pocket size. Any bigger and they may as well make an iPad phone with exclusive features. I'm carrying it either way and I make most of my calls with headphones.

Why would anyone buy the 5.7" version? The Plus is already basically tablet-sized, anything bigger just becomes more impractical without adding anything in the way of function. They should make a smaller version but obviously they won't because they still have all that old 5S hardware to get rid of

My Note had a 5.7" screen and it was great. I also love my iphone's 5.5" screen and would buy s 6" one if they made it.

I love these histrionic "it won't fit in my pocket" "they're impractical" and "you can't hold them with one hand posts." Never had a problem fitting mine in my pockets. Sales numbers seem to indicate people live these "impractical" devices. And I use my 6s Plus one handed on a daily basis.

I would if you get more screen and less wasted space.

Another person without comprehension skills and they just keep coming, this forum is worse than any other. I used that as a sarcastic example because of someone using an ipad in place of an iphone 6s plus. If the ipad can do everything the iphone can, such as functioning as a phone, then you and they are really lucky guys. Both are bad comparisons, do you not get that?

I guess you didn't understand the "It's like saying" part that you clearly quoted.

Adios, I don't care discussing things with people that follow simple conversation.

You should take your frustration elsewhere, maybe in 'my wife didn't gave me for long time' forum... :D

No matter what size this new dual camera iPhone is, Plus or Pro, I won't be getting it. Either size is just too large for me. I'll be getting a regular 7 instead.

This will likely be true just like the three-year redesign will likely be true. Smartphone market will continue to saturate itself with cookie cutter devices ranging from different SKUs, sizes, price points, etc. Perhaps a steady decline into the next decade once our habits start to change...

Apple will add more features to the Pro because they are also asking the most for it. This company has buyers who purchase $30 headphones that probably cost only 50 cents to make. Apple is the king of profit margins because they cater to millions of suckers who want an Apple logo stamped on it. It is the same way with Nike selling $200 rubber shoes being made in Chinese sweatshops as long as they have a Jumpman logo on it.

Just get what you like. If you think 5.5 or 5.7 inch is too big, stick to 4 or 4.7. There is still more potential buyers wanting 5.5+ than 4 but a company might as well have them all for people to stop whining about it. Stop worrying about something so trivial and buy what you want.

Forgetting one thing. How many would even consider buying that big of a phone. If Apple can't make money on what they can't sell, than why bother making the 5.7 inch. Yes, you can sell some, but Apple is into selling millions. 5.7 inch would not be purchased by millions in my opinion.

I think it would be the pro features that would attract customers. The dual camera and faster processor and supposed fast charging could be enough to make consumers buy it over the Plus, but, it definitely doesn't make too much sense to keep the 5.5" plus around.

Truly ridiculous comment. The 6 plus is closer in size to the 4" iphone than even the ipad mini. It's not even close to tablet size.

Not everyone have child's hands and choice is good whether you like it or not. Tiny phones are impractical with someone that has man sized hands.

Adios.

It would be very confusing to have an iPhone 7 (4.7) and iPhone Pro (5.5) with different names. It would go against what they just did with naming both the 9.7 and 12.9 iPad Pro.

I think they will call it iPhone 7 Pro instead of just iPhone Pro. Or they could just start calling it "iPhone" and "iPhone Pro". That would make sense too, but I doubt they'll implement that naming scheme before next year with the anniversary drastically redesigned iPhone.

Again, that's possible but it would get confusing considering the current use of Pro in the iPad line.

Apple can place the dual camera on the 5.5 inch phone, not needing the 5.7 unless Apple gets rid of the bezel and the 5.7 is like the 5.5 in size. Faster processor would be in each size version anyway.

Just wondering, how many larger 5.7 phones have been sold? How many 5.5 for that matter in 2016 ? How many were returned because it was too big ?

I returned mine (5.5 inch) and finally got the 4.7 inch. I have manly hands as well.

According to the report the processor in the Pro would be an A10X (rather than A10). But yeah I agree that they should just put the mess features in the 5.5" and it should become the Pro rather than Plus. In fact maybe that's what will happen: 5.7" Pro instead of 5.5" Plus.
