and the entry level iPad will be sticking to LCD for a long time. I wouldn’t be surprised if it got anti reflective coating ( not laminated display) before OLED.

I still occasionally use a 2017 iPad Pro. It has ProMotion! It doesn't feel like it has ProMotion because sadly, the A10X processor is holding it back. The screen is still great. It had a good run going on 10 years and will work just fine as a hand-down to some kids who aren't aware of the differences between LCD and OLED.

If you put it on low power mode though promotion gets disabled

Given that Samsung makes the displays. How are OLED displays on Apple devices able to properly display the color white, but on Samsung devices it always looks greenish/yellowish?

They look slightly warm and yellowish to my eyes; in isolation it’s fine, but using my iPad Pro in Sidecar, I can really see it compared to the MBP. The IPP can’t really do true whites.
