I was hearing the GMail didn't on the iPhone work so you had to go online to see your mail. Is this new to 2.0 or have you always been able to add a GMail account?
Thanks for the pics.

What is the "Fetch New Data" setting?
NEW PICS JUST ADDED.
any requests let me know
I believe it's what Apple mentioned at the keynote speech as a way developers can get around the limitation where they can't have their apps running in the background. Instead, the developer can setup a server to push data to the iPhone: to pop up a message on the screen, put an alert symbol/number by an icon, and/or make a noise. This is how a developer could make a chat client which acts like it is running in the background, when it really isn't, by setting up a "go-between" server between the iPhone and the real chat server.
According to the text, that setting lets you set a periodic check for that data rather than constant checking for pushed data, to save battery life. And apparently, apps can be designed for that rather than a true push as well.
So how are you taking screenshots? You surely don't have it Jailbroken...![]()
No, See pictures above i posted a pic of it.
Yes, and that is what I was basing my theory on, the text on that screen. What do you think it's for if it's not for that?
