I have had the white iPhone in my preorder cart several times but I keep coming back to that gorgeous yellow. I think I may have to go with the yellow and a black case.

5c - I really like the look!

ehh, I was quoting Ive not myself...

I do disagree and think the glass is stronger than the plastic ones, but we shall see

The glass is definitely harder than plastic and won't scratch easily, but it doesn't handle jarring impacts as well as plastic.

Plastic usually deforms and springs back, while metal dents (iPhone 5) and glass shatters. I admit that glass is beautiful and machined aluminum is cooler than plastic, but in the end, I'd rather have something durable if it costs hundreds of dollars and needs to withstand bumps.

Personally, I hate the look. Shiny plastic in bright colours. Urgh. Looks like a kids phone.

But that's just my opinion.

I'm really attracted to them also, for some reason, and I assume it's the color. Yet, I don't want a phone that attracts attention, so go figure. I will be getting the 5s in gray, but I can't wait to see the 5cs. I think it's just because they are so different from the other iPhones.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them out in the wild. I particularly want to see the color combinations people use with their iPhone 5c and their case.

I agree with that. I'd get a 5C in white precisely to avoid attention. There are already so many white iPhones out there that one more would not stand out or attract much notice.

If I c someone with a 5c, I'm sure ill say to myself " aw, he chose the 5c over the 5s! He mustn't b able to afford the proper iPhone. The 5c will look right in teens hands or grandmas purse.

All the colors are too "cheerful" for me. I'd prefer a darker, more vibrant set of colors. The only one I think I could stand is the green... Maybe. But yes, I kind of like them too.

I'm going from a 5 to 5C just because of the look/durability.

I coddle my 5 in a case and somehow it still has a few nicks on the side (probably due to the case.)

The battery should be a little better and the durability will be better than the 5S without a case so that's why I switched.

I got white just because it's simple.

I would prefer possibly a textured plastic but definitely a darker more subdued hue.

I am asking this in the most respectful way possible, what is a proper iPhone? The 5c has the internals of the iPhone 5 which plenty consider to be a "proper iPhone"? What makes it a kids phone?

Asked with all due to respect and genuine curiosity?

I just watched some hands-on videos of the 5c, but I am VERY impressed. It seems like a quality product, and it seems ergonomically better than the 5/5s.

Agreed I love the C. And I can imagine I would buy the C models in the future when my 5 is on its last legs. I want blue! Looks neat. I just hope it's not super thick! I just hope they switch the storage upwards! Make the 32gb the standard model, and 64gb for the upper tier C models.

Me too. Same reasons.

That video really did a number on you, didn't it! You are a marketers dream!

No it didn't - coz I have no intention of buying one.
My post was all about how the 5c isn't anywhere near as bad as I first thought it was, and how I think the phone is a nice alternative to the glass / metal iPhone's we've seen the last few years.

So no, it didn't do a number on me - I was just looking to gauge how other people felt about it.

But cheer for posting - it's added so much to the discussion!

I've bought one for my Fiancee....In Pink:eek: It's what she wanted and is looking forward to it's delivery next week...I'm ordering my 5S next Friday...Probably Champagne.

PINK? isnt' it red?

and champagne!, wow, she'll have two phones to choose from.

I've got an old iPhone 4 from Verizon so either the 5c or 5s will be a nice upgrade. I'm usually one that trys to get the greatest thing out there but I think this time I'm going to give in on the 5c.

The fingerprint scanner would be nice but I keep thinking back to my laptop that had a fingerprint scanner and how much I hated it. Great idea but until it's been proven I don't want anything to do with it. I finally turned the one on my laptop off b/c I had to scan my finger 4 or 5 times to get the laptop to unlock.

At least I know the technology in the iPhone 5c is tried and tested. :)
