5K2K at 120Hz with Mac Mini M4

It never fails to amaze me how bad Apple is with display support. A very cheap Windows laptop supports virtually every monitor…

165hz on 3840x1620 HiDPI feels horrible

Without hidpi it's fine but as soon as I enable hidpi it doesn't feel 165hz at all

Yes it's great and I seemed to have gotten lucky. My panel has no visible issues. I have an M1 Max. I do not see 1440p in the list of resolutions in Better Display though. Not really sure how to go about looking into all that.

If you go into system settings > displays, do options show up like the below screenshot?

Interesting.... It really does seem that Macs are just awful with ultrawides. Maybe i'll avoid buying one without at least having a Mac with native DisplayPort 2.1 support.
