Got the silver/white after I lost my space grey :eek: I must say iOS7 looks better with the silver and gold phones than the space grey, the bright white looks so good with the white face of the phone.
 
Personally I wish they would of kept the Slate and just improved it so there wasn't a scuff gate part 2. But given the current options I am considering the Space Grey or just waiting until iPhone 6.

If they had kept the black (slate?) I would have definitely held out the a white/silver. IMO the Space Grey if a good merge and compromise of a lighter colored frame edge and back panel with a black screen. Had Apple gone with a silver frame and slate back I might jumped on that one, but I still think my space grey is about perfect.

Now we'll see what they brew up for the iP6.

The only reason the "Gold" is getting so much exclusivity is because the quantity for it is so low and it's a brand new color... but I have seen it in person and anyone else who has seen it in person can tell you that it isn't really "gold"... it's more of a very very dim subdued yellow...

I predict there will be a lot of disappointment on this forum when posters receive their gold iPhone 5S in November.

Silver iPhone 5S is aesthetically the most pleasing of the 3.

I went out to see the gold in person and I personally love how it looks. :)

I have heard that it is very difficult to get an accurate photo of how the gold looks. Tends to look darker in photos than in real life ...

Edit: Though some of the photos in that thread look fairly accurate.

I do agree with that. The gold phones in my Apple store look much lighter in color than those I've seen in most pics. IMO a morre pleasing look in person. I still prefer the Space Gray though.

I'm not sure what you mean by "groundbreaking", but I got mine yesterday. I wanted the gold/white after having black for my last two phones.

I ordered it 9/20 through ATT, but in the evening. The original shipping/time to me was 10/21-10/28, but obviously they increased the manufacture of the golds, so I got mine 10/11.

Again, my first iPhone was white/white. then I bought two black phones and wanted a change. I'm really loving the gold/champagne back/side and front. i had a "condom" ready for it , so put it right on. I didn't have the 5, my last was the 4, so the extremely thin and longer (really nice for one hand) makes it very easy to handle and I was already used to iOS7, so instead of "setting up like new", I used my last backup from just before my unboxing.

Again, I'm in the Gold (white side and front) camp, and enjoying the new toy/phone a lot.
 
If I would have waited and bought the 5S instead of the 5, I would have gotten the black one. For some reason, now I think that the Space Grey looks way better than the white/silver model. Not so sure how I feel about the white/gold model, haven't seen it close up yet...:(

Yes, the Space gray looks great. I had a white/silver iPhone 5 and now I wonder how I preferred the white bezel from the black one. Black improves contrast and the whole viewing experience a lot. It also looks fantastic.
 
My first choice was the gold to make it like really a"new" iPhone. I have all the previous iPhones( I am an apple fan, some were stolen others were handed down #) . I went to the apple store to see them while waiting for the gold. I immediately cancelled my order and went for the space gray. No regrets.
 
I went to the store today, and despite their being a little sign saying "we don't have stock" I walked out with a 32gb Silver!

Had a silver, but found a gold yesterday. Love it! Since I had a white 5, this is a nice subtle change.

Still loving my silver, it's just so clean and suave-looking.
