That's nuts, seriously. Black is the conservative business go to color, why would they eliminate it?!?!? I'm really starting to back off the 5S the more I think about it and may just keep my 5 and with the extra money I didn't spend maybe grab a cheapie tablet like the N7 to accentuate the tiny screen size of the 5.
 
My 4 was black, went white with the 4S, and went back to black with the 5. Pretty disappointed that they killed black as it'd be a no-brainer for me if they still had black, but I'm definitely leaning towards Space Grey since it's most similar. Definitely won't go gold, but am considering white.

The gold really is pretty unpleasant isn't. Somewhat undecided on the other two, for me I would have to see them in reality to make a choice.

Scuffate. But the grey 5S is still very close to black. It doesn't look unprofessional at all.

Well the grey still looks plenty professional to me, and for me it's certainly not a deal breaker, though I did prefer the black.

It's quite likely I wouldn't be getting a 5S, but that's for reasons other than the color selections.

Yeah, I have to see it in person I suppose. I think I'm just getting caught in the Apple hype machine. I'm just going to wait until I can see and feel it in store. Just like the last couple of years I'm sure there will be plenty of them on launch day.
 
iPhone 5s colour? Most desirable?

I always buy with a view of what sells best when it comes to selling the phone on next year.

So far I'm undecided on what to buy, I bought white last year, so was considering slate before the choices were announced, the grey looks nice (and probably my favourite at present), the gold does look good in the pics on the website and the Apple video showing off the fingerprint sensor.

What color/colour is your favourite? What would be your first choice?
 
Silver.

If space gray was slate, I'd go with that. I currently have a white 4s.

I may change my mind by the time I am in line, and then again when I get to the counter...

And then again when the poor rep gets my phone...

I was planning on getting a silver iPhone 5s but the space gray has grown on me!

I kinda like the champagne but not sure about the look of it against the white....:confused:
 
I like the Gold. Looks more elegant in my opinion. Will be going to the Apple store to check them out before I decide if/which to buy.
 
iPhone 5S: Which color are you getting?

I am between the space gray and the white/silver iPhone. Currently I have a white iPhone 5, so this year I am thinking about getting the black/space gray one.
Just interested to see what others like more.
 
Gold is just plain tacky IMO so that is out the window to begin with.

I'm 49/51 on the space grey vs silver atm. I'll probably end up going with silver though as it matches my MBA, earpods, charging cable, and iOS 7 better.

I find this year's black/gray better than last years. I also think that it won't scuff.
I always thought that white is the Apple color, but this year I am thinking of making an exception..
