5S Buyers: What Color Are You Getting? [Merged]

Is the Silver exactly the same as the current White/silver iPhone 5? ....looks a bit different in some of the press pics...
I'll be upgrading from my black iPhone 4S to the white/silver iPhone 5S 
My wife will be getting the white/gold one as well. We both have black iPhone 4S so it will be nice for a switch in color. I tend to go between black and white anyway, seeing as my iPhone 4 was white.

I have always bought black...and currently have the IP5 in slate, but this time around I'm thinking about the Champagne....I like it. The only thing that worries me a little is the white, but I think I'd get used to it.
If I don't like it, I can always return it for the black.

I don't think they'll have them in until launch day. I'll probably go along mid week following the launch, as Saturday will probably still be packed.
It would be interesting to know what is on display at the minute, with two thirds of the offering being upcoming phones. If they're now running short of 5's, then obviously that should start being removed.

Normally I like the minimalism of black. All my phones have been black or navy in the past. But while the space grey is very nice, I find myself oddly very attracted to the gold.

I know what you mean. I've always leaned towards black in the past (space gray was my closest choice) but now I find the gold very intriguing as well. Think I'll go for the gold this time
The gold was so beautiful in the keynote! Getting 64GB gold and white.
I will be out of town on Sept 20, so I am ordering at 2 AM to be held at my local Apple Store for me. So sad I can't get it until Sept. 26 when I get back to CA.

I'm the opposite. I had a white 3/3GS. Black 4/4S. Skipped the 5. I think I'm going back to white/silver for the 5S. It's so sleek! I do like the white/gold but it would clash with most of my wardrobe. lol.

Wow, could you imagine how boring our world would be if everyone had your mentality? Glad some people like to spice it up and go all crazy with a blue or a yellow. Would get really sick of seeing EVERYONE with black phones. What a perfect little world that would be huh? Maybe we should all wear dark clothes as well, or does "does it come in black?" only apply to phones for you?
I think I have decided. I will get a black/space gray iPhone. It will be a nice change from all the white iPhones I have been buying the last years.
You went to far. They just stated their opinion as you did. For me, I don't like neon phones either.
Space gray, of course. I have the black iPhone 5 and I wonder whether the new "space gray" is so different from what I have. No way I'm buying the silver or gold ones. Perhaps for my girlfriend, but not for me.
In any case, I'm only buying it if the price is not outrageous here in Brazil (the current iPhone 5 costs over US$ 1,000 here, and if the 5S doesn't go US$ 1,200 or more, I'll probably buy it), and if it is compatible with the LTE frequency used here.

I currently have the Slate iPhone 5 and honestly have never been a huge fan. Really like the Space Gray color and the nice contrast.
I do think the white fact compliments ios 7 better than than black, so I could still end up with the silver.

Definitely the gold! It looks so different to what I'm used to, that's part of the attraction I think.
I wish the Gold one had a black face, I think I might would get that one as the gold is growing on me, especially the gold sides/trim. But I can't deal with the white face, makes the screen look too small.
