Heres the simple test I use to determine if my screen is good:

Does the screen exactly, 100% match the display model screens in both color tint and evenness? If no, take that thing back.

Most of the time, it's no. Apple ships a ton of inferior screens. I got lucky with my 5S and finally got a screen like the floor model. This one was ordered through a corporate account, so maybe they delegate the highest quality screens to big name accounts, and dump the trash on the masses.

Lucky you, Im chatting with apple customer service and they say the Yellow tint and Uneven backlight is a software problem that will get fixed.

the yellow tint is software but the backlight isnt. And it will NEVER be fixed with an update. Only with jailbreaking and installing color profiles. Me and Kre62 have been through this since 2010.

So i should exchange it if a have a bit of bleed in the top left? Also noticed that 3-5 pixels in the bottom are always more lit than the rest of display.

I don't think the yellow tint is software, its a hardware difference between screens. The good screens are uniform and have a natural blueish tint to them. The bad screens can be calibrated to display something close to the good screens, but its never quite the same.

Go get it exchanged, and tell them why, and that you think Apple is being very shady pulling this on its customers.

I feel like we should start a class action about this to get their attention.

I called Apple and am getting a replacement phone using their Advanced Replacement Service. It'd take me half a day to deal with an exchange at the nearest Apple Store -- never mind the hassle.

Did you do this through apple care or just the regular sale number? Did you buy yours online or in store?

I was wondering if others are noticing an uneven screen tint on the 5s. I notice it in the upper right corner of the display when on light backgrounds. Especially reading as the letters scroll through the tinted area. It's a yellowish tint.

I've read past threads of it being glue drying still, as they rushed these out the door for the launch, but I'm not sure if I buy it.

The glue myth AGAIN. It isn't glue and it will not fade over time. It's a defect in the LCD panel itself, uneven backlight positioning, or possibly even a color temp variation in the LED backlights themselves.
