Love the new iOS 6.0.2. Had random wifi issues. Now all going well. At least safari and other apps. But at times the app downloads are still really slow.

Over all really happy with iOS 6.0.2.

chk out post# 5-8. If/when a JB does come out, it'll be for ios 6.0, rather than 6.0.1 or 6.0.2. Unfortunately for me, i got my i5 with 6.0.1 outta the box. :(
Ppl with 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 or even 6.1 will again have to wait for the JB.
that's what i meant to say in my prev post.

As both Comex and chpwn have said, there will never be a jailbreak release for a non-current iOS version.

So if the hole for the jb is not present in 6.0.2 we will have to wait even more. Great. No wonder Apple is releasing so many .1 and .0.1 updates.

baseband didn't update with 6.0.2 It was specific wifi patch I would assume. I would think a 6.0.1 jailbreak would exploit the same as a 6.0.2 jailbreak.

Either way this wifi update didn't fix wifi issues for me. :(

Me neither. In fact it is worse.

yeah thats possible.. but its unlikely the exploit is going to be closed.. since devs dont really share "betas" of jailbreaks outside their close circle since the SHAtter exploit leak..

6.0.2 actually worked out nicely for my iP5. Enjoying it so far.

I never had any isues with wifi UNTIL I took the 6.0.2 update. Now wifi will not stay connected more than a few seconds on my ip5 while all our other devices, including ip4's and an ipad 1, have the same old screaming wifi. Now what?

Not sure about others but I am having huge battery drain issues with my iPhone 5 since loading this update... as in, leaving my phone unattended for a few hours and the battery is completely dead. A search of twitter shows others having this problem too.

I an addition to SWEET battery drain, I have lost the ability to connect to the internet when on a phone call (with AT&T).

Now when I am on the phone, there is zero connection, and when I hang up it comes back. Anyone else had this issue?

Sounds like they pushed you the CDMA update version. You got a free upgrade to Verizon. :D Sorry could'nt resist

Just for the record & FWIW, in order for everyone not to be totally freaked out about updating, I had no wifi or battery issues before updating and have none afterward.

Black 64GB iPhone 5 activated on launch day 09/21 and perfect every day since.

Reading this thread yesterday almost made me decide against updating.

I haven't updated because I don't see were its going to do anything for my fully functional iPhone 5. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

After reading through more of this thread I decided to perform a network settings reset and that fixed my issue. I'm all good now.

Is 6.0.2 confirmed to drain battery on the iPhone 5?

It does seem like my battery is worse after the update. Apple's recent iOS updates have been fails -_-.
Is this happening to a majority of the people on .2?

I updated to 6.0.2 and my battery life seems either the same or maybe a tad better.

Anecdotal improvement here. Normally I use 70% during a normal work day getting 1 bar LTE in my concrete bunker of an office building. As it sits right now, exactly 50%.
