You don't own one or know someone who does, do you?

You are wrong. If it does at all it is so little that a direct on/off comparison under any location condition does not show it. Element case with the physical breaks in the aluminum have solved the aluminum case signal issue. I've used their cases since my iPhone 4. The pro model for that phone and all cases since them have not been signal killers. Do your research before you make false statements.

Yep, co-worker got one. Wifi and LTE are less than mine. Not unusable, but it's reduced for sure. Having breaks may help but having cases made out of metal just blocks the signal, no way around it.

I own a Sector Pro. Every review I've read and every Forum discussion says no or negligible affect on signal.
i don't know how you get those results, but I trust you're being honest. By the way is your phone careless in that test. I think it's likely that the operating system will cut power to the antenna when the signal is good to save battery. There are variables that only Apple is aware of.

There is no trick for me, just install and work flawlessly (including the power button). May be I am just lucky, may be my case already used for few months, so a bit more "flexible".
That actually makes sense. Unfortunately, I still can't get the power button to function normally. I have tried my best to align the phone properly in relation to the built-in buttons on the case. If I can fix it, well, then I will keep it. If not, I may return or exchange it for the current Solace case. The Black Ops is a beautiful case, though it's quite snug on the 6s Plus. I'd hate to give it up, so I have to decide if the compromise is worth it. Decisions, decisions..

hi, just want to bump this thread,
anyway i've been loyal to element case since iPhone 4
i have several of element case for my iphones
iphone 4 = Vapor and vapor Pro
iphone 5 and 5s = sector pro and ronin titanium G10
and i've been a avid fan of their cases.
the vapor 4 for iphone 4 does indeed make the phone reception worse but after they introduce the vapor pro with a composite material on the band, the signal issues are gone.
i've tried other brands aluminium and metal case, but always comeback to element case cause for me they make one of the best iphone cases around. though they are pricey, but their quality is really worth it.

but now im totally dissapointed with their new line of cases for the 6s plus and 6s.
now they outsource their manufacturer to china, maybe that's the problem ,because before, they always printed that they are proud to be Made in the USA.

i bought element case solace for my 6, and element case sector pro black ops for the 6 plus
after few weeks the paint or finish on my element case solace has faded, from inserting and taking out my phone from my jeans.and also the joint where the plastic caps meet the case has broken and the case is useless now
and for my iphone 6 plus i boutght their most expensive sectro pro black ops and after few uses samething happens
the plastic tabs brokes ,
both are only several weeks old and i never dropped them. !
further more on my black ops, the side are supposedly made from their so called G10 material which is supossedly very strong, but mine has cracked!
both phone are not droped at all not even bumped into something hard !!i
im totally dissapointed with them.
maybe because they outsource their manufacturer to china or maybe because of the design of the case.
now they dont use anymore screws , they instead use a plastic caps that slide in and lock into place, that part is very very fragile
so much for an expensive iphone cases.

from now on , i had enough and i wll never buy element case again
unless they comes up with something better.

ps:
i did complain to them , but was told that this is owner error
what a BS ! i've been using tons of their cases and never have any single issues, and to blame a customer for something that are not well made or well designed in the first place ?

seriously, stay away from their 6 , 6s and 6s plus casing for now.
they are brittle like hell.

Sure, few more pics here. Before I get the case, I wonder why the case colour keep changing between pictures on the Element website. And now, I know the answer, because it does looks different under different lighting and angle.

The experience so far is very good. Super easy installation, no screw driver required anymore.

Before I have this case, I use the Airmask. From memory, it's just 0.3mm think. So I jump from a very thin mask to this solid case. TBO, may be because it's completely black in colour, so it doesn't looks huge. On hand feeling is very good as well, very comfortable. As you can see, it has ergonomic design to fit your hand.

Also, even though it has very solid protection on all 4 corners (which is very important to handle accidental drop), the grabbing area only increase the width by <3mm in total (just more than 80mm vs 77.8mm naked). Really can't feel the difference in size. I guess this is the main reason why they need to re-design this case for 6+, but not follow the ip6 design.

All the button covers are fixed on the case, so no extra installation step required. The volume buttons are very solid. Power button feels a bit loose, it can move up and down for about 0.5mm. All button work with zero problem anyway.

The iphone is perfectly fitted inside the case. However, due to the power button has little room to move around, it can give out a little noise if you shake the 6+.

The biggest downside so far is that I can't flip the silent switch if I only use my left hand to operate the phone. Which is not a problem for me, my Black SS Apple watch is on the way. Once it arrived, the phone will be always silent. Interestingly, when the phone is inside the holster, it's very easy to operate the silent switch.

Can you email me pictures of the screw holes please? i believe mine are mis drilled. Email me at matt@koledigital.com please and thank you!!!
