6 Plus Fail

1 ton = 2000 pounds

With an Assumed Average Weight Per Person (AAWPP) of 185 pounds that equates to 10.8 people per ton.

So I guess the question is how many tons of people are we talking?

I went to AT&T to check out the size of the 6 Plus. They didn't have a phone but they had a case that was the same size which I used to get a sense of the size.

Despite coveting the larger Android phones for years, I thought the 6+ was just too ****** big! It's better the the 5s, but I think Samsung got it right with their 5.1 inch screen size.

Sooo unfortunate. Sooo disappointing. I may keep my 6+ pre-order active and perhaps try getting used to it, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up the the 6 and continue my android screen envy.

You mentioned the 5s ? I'm guessing you mean the S5(Galaxy)? Why would you not be comparing it to the Galaxy Note? The iPhone 6 Plus is a fable(5.5"), so it should be compared to another phone that's not a tablet.

To clarify, I'm sure the 6+ will be a fine phablet, if that's what you want. I just was a phone, not phablet, that has a decent size screen. (Can you imagine pulling out that monster from your pocket just to check the time??)


4.7inch is an improvement over the tiny 4inch screens, but still not big enough. 5.1 (or there about) is the right answer, IMO. This is when the limited options available in the Appleverse begin to pinch.

Even though iPhone users are split right now, I think most would agree that Apple should find a way to keep a similar physical size to the 6, and shrink the bezel to fit a 5" + screen.

The 6 plus is really a fail, it should get 6.4" inch! 5.5 inch is too small
