Most apps that I've used are just bigger 6 apps that don't make proper use of the bigger display.

When I got the Plus, I sold my iPad fully convinced that this would be the best of both worlds. But I'm starting to think that I was wrong. There is still plenty time for developers to 'get' the Plus but if I knew 10 months ago what I know now, I would probably have gotten the regular 6 and kept my iPad.

For me, just the huge amount of extra real-estate is making proper use of the bigger display. I understand your point, though at the same time I was wary that app developers would try to do things different in landscape mode just because they could and end up with a slightly worse experience because of it.

That said, I do agree Facebook should do something in landscape mode. Even if it's just to allow the app to rotate.

Hmmm. I was thinking I wanted to upgrade from my 6 to a 6s+ next month, but upon reading these comments (especially about the lack of landscape apps taking away one of the main benefits of the larger screen) I'm considering just getting a 6s in a different color, and keep using my iPad Air 2 for "tablet work".

What held me back from the 6+ last fall was that it felt like such a meal in my hand -- it was not something I could handle without constantly thinking about how I was holding it (and I spent several hours over several days playing with it in the Apple store). Whereas the 6 feels just more comfortable -- I just grab it and use one-handed without any concern about losing my grip.

It's not the size of the phone that bothers me personally, but the way its positioned as a device. This should be more than just a bigger phone. It could be the ideal bridge between a phone and a tablet, but as it stands now it's just a phone.

That said, however, I wish the regular 6 had the PPI of the 6+...

Yeah that and OIS not sure what the differating thing will be on 6+. Maybe 4k video.

Not counting batt life

Definitely agree. And when you suggest it to the dev... They would simply say that it's not on their top priority list & that they will take note down the future.

And one thing that bugs me the most.... apps not optimized for 6 & 6 Plus. If I find an app not optimized I won't bother installing it.

I would probably go back to the smaller size if it had the same battery life and resolution. Until then its the plus
