First of sorry if this is the wrong forum but i didn't think a case would be classed as a peripheral.

I'm after something like this but without the zip so it's sort of like a big iPod sock for your Macbook. It must be really really soft and again have no sort of zip on as i fear i might catch my Macbook putting it in and taking it out, which would result in marks!

Thanks.

try Radtech to see you like anything there.. i got a sleevz there and its awesome for my alu. macbook.

If you baby your laptop, and don't need a hard case for it, I recommend the Sleevz by Radtech. It basically is a small stretchy fabric that fits snugly around the laptop.

You can also use it to wipe the screen, so its another plus.

Warning

Unless you're very careful the neoprene-type sleeves do not provide enough protection to prevent Apple notebooks from getting dents and dings. I've seen this too many times now :(

If you use a thin sleeve and are transporting your notebook please at least put it inside another padded bag. They are not enough on their own. Otherwise get something more substantial, e.g. from Brenthaven.

the waterfield hardcase looks incredible, but the the price is also incredibly high :-( $200 for a case? might as well spend the money on an upgrade to a MBP or MBA and get a $50 marware.

i highly endorse marware bags. pretty economical. minimalist, and the MOST comfortable shoulder strap ever.

i don't need to show off to everyone that i have a macbook or to draw attention to myself/macbook.

for a sleeve, i recommend incase.

but drlunanerd is right. if you want full protection from possible dents, dings, and drops...you might want to consider an actual bag from one of the many companies that make great products. brenthaven, booq, etc...etc... (the forum here can show you many great companies.)

+1 for Sleevz by Radtech. Very soft material and tight fit plus it still fits in a 13-inch notebook carrying case. Note it does not work great if you have a invisible sheild or similar skin on the notebook as it becomes a little too tight. You can see them here:

I got the black one and I like it very much.

I'm very happy with the tucano sleeve with the accessory pouch.

they have regular sleeves, and awesome more protective sleeves.

The best sleeve is the one my wife made out of polar fleeze there is a million patterns to pick from and cost about 5 dallars takes her about ten minutes to sew up never a scratch
