Applesac has a pocket in front the charger can slip into easily.

yea, i have one for the 13.3 inch unibody one. im selling it cause i bought a hard shell. If anyone wants it let me know, its the black one with white fleece and i used it like 3 times. $25 +shipping. Hope you find the one ur looking for

I want a sleeve that opens from the top in portrait orientation. I dont care it it has a zipper or not. Its going to go inside my old 15"sleeve, and then again in my bookbag. I keep the charger in a side pouch already. I jsut want my precious stored in a 13 inch sleeve in a 15" sleeve in a bookbag.

sleeves are good if you already have a bag to throw it in...

don't mean to hijack your thread, but if you're looking for an affordable bag and not just a sleeve, then this bag looks great... i think i'll get this when i get my macbook (whenever it gets refreshed)... anyone have this bag? from the photos i can't tell if it has zippered compartments, though. zippered compartments along with the velcro flaps would be ideal.

Yeah I first went with an STM Small alley bag that I love. I just want the sleeve for easier carrying purposes when I don't need to haul folders, papers, books etc.

I like the idea of the Applesac/Colcasac, except for the velcro. Any users mind trying to sway me over Incase for environmental friendliness?

So you guys saying that sleeves are only for those who don't have a laptop case and just have a regular bag or backpack or what not?

i would think so since they don't really offer much protection other than from scratches. i think if you had a neoprene or some other type of sleeve and dropped your macbook it would still get damaged easily. all my friends who have sleeves carry their macbooks in their regular bags while the sleeves are used to protect the macbook from other books and things in the bag.
