i also have the 64gb. i love having my entire music album collection(46gb in size) with me. I hated having to decide, which albums to include and omit from my 8gb nano. the 4s has been a god send to me.

I have the white 64GB 4S and I'm loving it. It's really nice not to have to worry about space. I can comfortably carry all of my music, movies, and whatever else I want. Go for it!

I have 64GB that I've been waiting for 3 years. I STILL can't fit my entire music library on there, but with the 128 kbps option checked I can get 85% or so and that's fine. I do wish for 128 GB sometime in the next few years, though.

BTW- iCloud / iTunes Match sucks (it's terrible and I've tried to use it) - we need local storage.

Not overkill for my use, as I have much music and other needs too… and as mario stated, for "just" $100 more, you get double the space.

I purchased a 64GB white iPhone 4S and it's amazing. I only have 17GB of music however I am able to have all of my apps installed and I can finally keep all of my pictures and videos. There were times when I had my 32GB iPhone 4 and I was forced to delete videos and apps because of space limitations. Also keep in mind that pictures and videos on the 4S take up more space than the 4.

Also I have a 16 GB iPad 2 that takes advantage of iTunes match for when I am around wifi .

Last year I bought the 32Gb iPhone 4, but if a 64Gb model had been available, I would have bought that. I would love to have all my music with me. And yes, I know I could use internet, but there isn't always a good connection available.

I haven't filled the full 64 yet, but I'm well past 32. Could I manage within 32? Sure, but there's more convenience in the freedom that extra space brings. Glad I went 64.

A better way of knowing is to actually know what battery is inside the phone, and as people has already opened these 4S up, they all show the same battery.

So it's just a coincidence that you find it that way!

You are funny. Storage space doesn't affect the battery life in anyway mister iphone4s16gb. Guess you'll have to change your name to iphone4s32gb

Glad I went with 64gb this time around. I've got a bunch of apps and music on there, a couple of videos and already a fair amount of 1080p videos and I've used up 33.3gb already, with 24.1gb left.
