They really need to do something with the mobile app as well. A lot of people got confused by the grayed out submit button...
I was actually getting an error every time the "finalize order" button was hit. It was so frustrating as the site was working great until the final step. We ordered a 6s the next day and was getting the same error. It had something to do with the premier website.
 
Ordered at 12:05am on the 12th and mine says "Preparing for shipment" as well with a shipping date of 10/16-10/23.
Yeah that's odd. I think I ordered mine around 12:45 am on the same day.

Mine has just sat there saying "Preparing for shipment" yet it still says "Delivered by 9/25 Standsrd shipping"
 
Well this stinks. I don't get why those who ordered after me have shipped already.

Somewhere there is a list, let's call it "List A", of all the people that ordered the same phone you ordered. They know how many of those phones they have, and so they take that many people from List A, based on when they ordered, to create a new list and start fulfilling orders - we'll call that "List B". At that point it's irrelevant what order they go through the List B because everyone in List B is going to get the phone on the same day, and List B is probably sorted by something other than the time of the order so that they can distribute them efficiently.

This theory is probably correct. They are likely shipping by region. Perhaps our regions are closer to the origin and require less time in transit. Oh well, as long as I have my phone on the 25th I won't be upset that someone got a notice before me.
 
Just got tracking number. 64g SG Plus. Ordered 3:01 on preorder day. Had the Oct dates since order.
 
just got an email saying my phone has shipped! I order at 315am ET for the 64gb grey 6s+ . it originally said oct 13-26 for shipping, but it just shipped today from texas and will be here by friday!

128 plus gold they changed my initial ship time from Oct 23 to Oct 16 a few days ago. Today they sent a tracking number. Feeling pretty good. I do have to cancel my appointment with apple though.

Those that are not doing a 2 year contract are throwing money away. My 4 line unlimited is cheaper than Next. Also most carriers are paying etf if/when you switch. This is why I ordered thru att vs apple store.

I was going to call but what's the point. It is what it is. I'm just hesitant because I had a lot of issues with my order.
