Cancelled for pickup

Today I cancelled my 4:10am EST launch day order of a 64g AT&T space gray iPhone and placed a new order to pickup from the NYC Soho store. Took about 2 minutes for the cancellation to go back to my AT&T account before I could place the new order.
 
32gb gold att ordered through apple. Got dilevery email this mornring and expected delivery date of Friday. Ordered at 3:07. FINALLY!!!!!
 
Still processing, but my delivery date changed from 10/7-10 to 10/3-8!

Unlike many in this thread I'm not an entitled ******* and won't call to complain until my 7-10 days is exhausted.

Just as I suspected. My email notification from Apple stating it shipped shows a Delivery Date of Oct 8 via standard shipping. The UPS site has now given me an expected delivery of Oct 4 via expedited shipping.

Looks like what others have said is true, even if you did not expedite your shipping, the phones are all going out expedited. Just FYI

US, Apple.com, 32g Gold, ATT, confirmation on 20th at 12:06am PT

Same here.. The flight took off at 9:55pm though.. LOL.. maybe they scanned it mid-flight ;)

i called up the apple care and the service personnel told that they cannot confirm when will the iphone actually be shipped but instead he told me that he will update the shipping so now the delivery date change from (oct8-oct11) to (oct3-oct8).. i don't know but seriously i think it is not possible to ship mine by oct3-oct8...
hoping arrives at the same delivery date..
 
My origin scan at Zheng Zhou was at 4:10pm today with no other movement. Other earlier origin scans have already had additional movement and departed on a flight. Will there be another flight out today, or is this now caught up in the 3-day holiday?

I'm in the same boat as you. I've seen prior orders only take a day from China to home. Hopefully we're not in the 3 day holiday window but with people stating we won't get it until Friday, that seems reasonable.

I read that there could be up to 450,000 iPhones on these flights. I doubt they actually scan each one, more likely they do a batch upload of some sort. The time stamp of the departure might not be the exact time the flight actually left the ground, but rather when the scan upload hit UPS' system. Just a guess.
