I hate to get off topic but something tells me the people here probably won't mind hearing what I disliked about it lol.
There were obviously multiple reasons I'm switching back and disliked the GS4. The first was the battery life. Android doesn't work well with low cellular signal. I took two trips, one to vegas, one to the Florida Keys. Both trips I had to deal with awful battery life. Basically the keys has some bad reception areas so out of no where my battery would drain at about a percent per minute. When I went to vegas it was even worse. Basically inside the casinos my phone was about useless. The battery was drained within 2 hours at full charge. I went with 10 guys for a bachelor party and those with iPhones had nearly 90% to my 0%. I took some laughs for that. 3 of us had android and had to either keep our phones off or use mophie packs.
So there's that. My second big issue is the camera. The camera on this phone basically takes fantastic pictures under the best of conditions and all else are awful. Most of the other problems involve the OS experience so we'll chalk that up to Opinion but I absolutely despise the sms messaging built in and 3rd party options offered. Also because other owners of Android products told me the OS wasn't glitchy anymore I believed them. Needless to say, I grew tired of reboots, app crashes, and battery pulls.
So there you go. I gave Android an honest try and the only thing I like about the hardware was the big screen. That's just simply not enough.
Oh and FYI: I used the phone with the stock rom, modded stock, CM, and clean Android. I gave it my best. Just wanted to say that before people started bashing me lol.
My unlocked Gold 64gb phone is suppose to arrive on 10/2.

So weird these delivery dates. It must have nothing to do with location in the US. I guess it may be how many can fit on the next plane lol.

Same here! I'm east coast... How it will get from Korea to DC by 1:15pm (end of my delivery window) I don't know!
Lol sounds like a samsung phone. The only reason I'm asking is cause I sell phones and activate these bad boys all day. And I personally had a bad experience with it so I haven't even thought about wasting money on them again, I also got that opinion reinforced when they released the S3 last year. It was awful, half the people who bought it, ended up switching back to iPhone. But I thought they'd worked through all the garbage in the software and honestly I hadn't heard much against the S4 which surprised me. But if you compare it to the 5S, the quality just nosedives. I'm always curious to see why people don't like a product before I give honest advice to my customers.
I tried android last year and had the HTC One X. LOVED that thing. It was a fantastic phone. I put roms on it, the camera quality was unrivaled and the battery life...47 hours!!!! So I had a great experience I just think iPhones where I'm sposed to be lol.

Flight UPS99 take off from Incheon 1h35min ago, if your phone is on this plane the status should have change with a departure scan now (their is some delay on the tracking tool)
If more people were like you, less people would be so unhappy with phones they purchase. It's so much better to get an educated response, then to hear the usual iPhone just sucks or Android just sucks.
It might be biased but I agree. I'm so over the whole android apple debate. They're both great operating systems it's just a matter of preference.
I'm giving it another day or two then I am going to see what I can do to get the order canceled and my 2 year contract upgrade restored.
I don't know why Apple expects people who ordered the day it came out to sit and wait while they flood the stores. We aren't all fanboys. Some of us just want a phone that will last more than a year.

My silver 32Gb model is out for delivery. Should be in hand in the next couple hours....hopefully. UPS tend to deliver either mid-day(10am-1pm CST) or late in the afternoon. Hope to not be stuck at home all day waiting to sign for it. Will need to run out afterwards to get a case for it.
I've tried Android and I really like it TBH. It really is personal preference. I just prefer iOS, but I don't bash people that like Android. I think its pathetic that people get so passionate over a mobile device operating system.
My phone arrived in Inchon on the 30th, and is out for delivery today in California, Oct. 1st. It is even a day earlier than originally planned. I don't think you should have a problem getting it by Friday, possibly sooner.
StevenT42, I think we are on the same plane. I noticed yesterday while people were tracking, there was a case of the package getting scanned while in flight. It was very obvious that it had to have been scanned after the thing took off. Flight 99 is showing to be in air now and I'm pretty sure ours is on that flight. BTW, what area of Texas are you in? I have a feeling ours will be travel buddies for a good distance of the leg.
If you think it's flooding the stores, I'd like to know what stores you're looking at!

I'm in the same boat. I really hope they ship today. That'd put them on track for a Friday delivery. If they don't, they won't arrive until Monday.
Everyone is tired of seeing that. I'm currently in my 10th day of processing. Short of paying through the nose on ebay, kijiji, or craigslist, I have exhausted every possible avenue. Once my 5s arrives, my current phone will definitely need a long holiday.
Me too. I was told by an Apple rep last night that my phone would ship today in order for the guaranteed delivery of 10/7-10/10 to be met. Guess he was wrong....just like the rep that I talked to on Sunday, who said my phone would ship on Monday (9/30).
