They should rename that city ZZStop. So much for a Friday delivery, unless it's long gone from China and they didn't update. I'm guessing a lot of workers really aren't working the holiday.

I called and explained to them that theres no way if my item is still processing it will arrive on time for OCt7-10 .. and they changed the shipping from standard to 2-3 day shipping. and 2 hours later it changed to Preparing to ship..

AT&T Gold 32 12:09 PDT now preparing for shipment!

Completed order for AT&T Gold S 32GB 9 minutes after possible to order, and got confirmation email stamped 12:11. Been checking all day, just changed to preparing for shipment! I'm in Hawaii, but in the past have had them go to TN first via FedEx. I didn't pay for expedited shipping since everything to Hawaii is air anyway.

My 32GB gold was just delivered to me! I'm in such awe that it's finally in my hands after waiting almost 2 weeks! Good luck to everyone whose orders are still processing or preparing for shipment! You forget all about the wait once you open your door and see the UPS man!

Called Apple

I just got off the phone with apple, she said that 3 days preparing for shipment is normal, and that the 8-11 October date will be fulfilled...I should have cried on the phone to get something free lol....I speak fluent English but I cant express my sadness as good as a native I guess. I wish she could see me, she would trow me a iphone 6.

That's where I'm at, Standard Shipping selected. Maybe if I had selected expedited shipping, the order would be here today.

I had standard shipping also but it got upgraded to expedited shipping I guess.

So I'm still "preparing for shipment" for about 58 hours now. But I did jump on the bandwagon & gave Apple a call just to check check on what's going... (Credit card charged & no shipment) I wasn't rude or pushy, just curious, I didn't ask for anything other to know when my phone would move to the "shipped" status. He offered me a free case & refunded the 10$ I had paid for expedited shipping but still kept it as expedited shipping. Nice move apple - everyone likes free stuff
