7-10 business days (October 7 - 11 Delivery) group

Man for those of us sitting at Louisville, Apple definitely gave us different shipping. I look at other tracking and the day it went to Louisville, the day it went out for delivery.

I honestly think either calling and complaining to get better shipping actually works, or UPS is just slowing down.

Or UPS has not updated the tracking info yet and your phone is actually on its way.

Doubtful. UPS estimates it will be here tomorrow. Most likely we see them go to our destination cities and sit there till morning. It's just odd they are moving slow.

Also I'm not complaining. I know a lot of you are anxiously waiting in China and still some that are processing. I'm thankful mine is almost here. I hope they ramp up shipping for you guys.
 
So my delivery estimate changed yesterday afternoon from October 3-8 to October 7-10. Still in processing limbo. So. Frustrating.

We are in the exactly same boat, the phones stuck in Korea for an extra day, and now stuck again in Louisville. The next step should be import scan, does the government shutdown affect the UPS to import the international shipping?

There is a chance due to government furloughs that customs is short handed or not running at all...

Not really. That's still considered essential so they usually proceed as normal.
 
My iphone status

Thanks to everyone sharing their shipping experience. I ordered a gold 64 gb Verizon from apple store app at 2:06 AM central time. My order status changed from processing to preparing at around 2:30 PM on 9/30. The status changed to Shipped by the time I woke up on 10/3. The UPS info has the order processed: ready for UPS at 9:25 AM China time. Then at 1:41 pm local time the origin scan occurred in ZhengZhou. It was apparently shipped UPS Worldwide Expedited. I did not request expedited but I am pleased that they seem to have upgraded me. Apple has an estimated arrival Oct 11. UPS does not have an ETA.

I am relieved that the phone exists and is on it's way. I wish I could get it by Friday so that I can have it for the weekend. Any chance it could come on Saturday?

Thanks again sharing your info so that I had some sort of idea what to expect. I have an iphone 4 and I want this 5s more than a person should want a material object. :)

I can tell you as a government employee that they aren't all considered essential. Customs at airports yes so people can return to the country but imports might be another story all together. Not sure how we would find out though.

I upgraded from 4 to 5S and you won't be disappointed. Waiting on my sisters gold so she can swap from her 4.

I'm also a government employee :). Thank God I'm also considered essential. Almost all customs and border protection agents are working. Only the e-verify systems is down for Homeland security.

Yup my phone is on that plane also! I'm really hoping for a Friday delivery!!
 
got notice that my friends gold att 16 gig shipped. then got tracking information and it gives the estimated delivery date of 10/10.

wow thats a week. says its shipping ups worldwide expedited. hopefully this will change. that seems like a long time. i got my 32gig gold att on wednesday 9/25 and it shipped sometime the previous saturday night. i ordered this 16 gig for my friend 6 minutes after i ordered my 32gig gold.. crazy

Mine just move from Factory to ZZ UPS hub, therefore he will miss the today flight from Korea and may take the next one tomorrow :p
