Phone in Korea since the 4th...like many of you.

Yeah, they are not late as I am not supposed to receive till the 10th (promised 8-11 ) But really, sits in Korea for a couple days. Why?

I have not read all of the threads... How are people finishing out what flight their phone is on? Or are they just fun assumptions? :)

Again, not so complaining about my phone having no movement...just seems weird. It will be here in 4 days at most.

Every phone comes from China, then through Incheon, South Korea. If you match up your arrivals and departures, you can determine the flight they are on, and then predict which flights they will take. We've been able to track our phones all the way from Incheon. China is a bit more difficult, due to the number of flights, and destinations. UPS99 is a very common flight path taken. Last year, my iPhone 5 took UPS99. Again, everything connects through Anchorage, then Louisville. After that, everything is broken up and shipped to different parts of the country.

For us Nor. Cal. people some of us are connected :D and know that the phones always come into Oakland, from Louisville. Today there is only one flight, hard to miss.

I bet if we ordered through AT&T, they would have come strait into Sacramento Mather, but I have been ordering from the Apple Store, since the iPhone 4S. I feel that Apple Store purchases have a better time. However this is the first year, I recall AT&T purchases came in faster....

Additionally, Apple will assign your serial number at the time of shipping. Based on order number and serial number, we have been able to track our phones before Apple even let's us know it shipped.

There's lot of little tricks.

Mine just left Louisville. This is it guys :D on our own ways from here

Your phone spent more time in Louisville than mine did.

64gb AT&T GOLD :D

Can't wait. Delivery should be Tuesday EOD but my tracking still says I'm sitting in ZhangZhou, China!!!

Tracking for the case has it getting delivered tomorrow so I'll review it. Guessing I'm one of the first to get this particular case as I've had it on order for two weeks now.

That sounds exciting. Make sure you post pics of your phone in the case as well.

My iPhone is still in South Korea. I can't find a flight from Incheon to Anchorage for Monday. Anyone found anything?

I am sick, tired, frustrated, excited and nervous. Just send my iphone 5S silver, 16 gigs tmobile unlocked to me already! I cant study nor do anything with my life right now. I WANT IT NOWWWWWWWWWW!! Its currently stuck in Korea with estimated delivery on Thursday. :p

It is a little nerve racking that they have gone nowhere in 2 days..again, not late..but actually shipping them to sit is a little stupid.
Maybe weather related?
And really? Almost 3 weeks to get after ordering 12 hrs after launch?

Yeah I ordered one hr after the launch time and I wont get my iPhone until Thursday. Its frustrating but they gave me free case so I cant be complaining; still we all want our iphones to be shipped faster!

Same here, only 3 minutes after launch. Sucks they are letting ours just sit in Korea instead of at least moving them onward.

They rather let it sit there in korea than deliver it. This is based on lack of space on the plane (they dont just stuff boxes in there) and its how they categorize pallets etc. its def coming on thursday. Mines due on thursday.

So, my phone is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday but its still in ZhengZhou. If it's Monday in China, and it hasn't moved, how will I get it on Tuesday?

When do phones get to the East Coast?

My phone left Louisville at 3:48pm. There has been no movement since then on the UPS tracking site. Also none of the UPS flights from Louisville appeared to be headed towards the NY/NJ area. They were all going west, CA, TX, etc. I did not see a UPS flight headed to Newark airport or even LGA or JFK. I'm starting to worry that my phone wont be here by EOD tomorrow.

Imtiazjamil's from above landed in Syracuse, NY and mine landed in Windsor Locks, CT this afternoon for delivery in northern MA so there definitely were flights out this way.

Not every UPS flight is listed ahead of time. Do you really think there won't be a flight from UPS' world headquarters to the NY/NJ area tomorrow?

Yay! Welcome to California iphone!!!

So far we have the exact same track. Minus origin scan and import scan, which are actual physical scans. The rest are container/plane scans.

It's possible it hitched a ride on a passenger airway, or it might have gone by truck, depending on how close things are, less than 500 miles, it could go by truck over night.

So, in other words, the guaranteed date isn't really guaranteed? Then why pay for it?

Guys if it says Tuesday, it will be Tuesday. This same thing happened when I ordered the new iMac. All the ups and flight tracking is sometimes hours behind so it's not worth the time. Lots happens overnight so if Tuesday is your delivery date, pending weather that's what it will be

I agree. Even though mine took a roundabout way to get here, and weather could have delayed it, it was delivered on Friday as promised. Have faith in UPS.

12 hours in L'ville, not even imported yet, the horror! :p

To the OP, it's been a fun thread thanks for starting it. To the flight gurus, big up & thanks and it was fun traveling with you. Safe travels! :D :apple:

I'll have the added agony of my phone making it's way through my works own delivery system. I've already told my daily delivery guy to look out for it for me.

Hope to have something to update soon.
