You are still well within the Oct 7-11 delivery time frame so you will definitely get your phone this week if its already sitting in ZhengZhou.
Keep these things in mind:
- UPS tracking info is not updated in realtime
- Technically Saturday and Sunday don't count as business days.
- China is a day ahead. The trip from ZhengZhou all the way to Louisville can be completed in a single business day. (e.g. my package left Incheon 10/06/2013 7:58 A.M. and arrived in Ontario, CA 10/06/2013 4:19 P.M. to be then delivered by truck on Monday)

This is my 5th year "waiting" online for our iPhones. It's a lot of fun. For those who go OCD over their orders, it's all apart of the game and adds to the community. Each year it get's better and better, the detail of the watch is unprecedented. Last years "preorder" was really fun. This year, we have many different sub groups.
As to how we know what flight our phones are on, or how to track without a tracking number, etc, it's because of the insiders who are willing to share.
When this is all over, for me, and the rest of you, it's going to be a little empty, and I will look forward to next year.

mine just departed newark nj at 6am today. There had to have been a delay somewhere because it has been traveling since 2pm yesterday.

My iPhone 5 is getting old. Man, I wish I did not have to have the latest and greatest...wish I could stick with great and not have to get the one that's a tiny bit better
But 3 days from now I will have it and pretty sure I will be stoked.

My phone is in napa right now but not on truck for delivery yet. The worse part is the ups guy doesn't come to my house til late in the day.
I don't see any flights from Korea to Alaska today...is it possible that our phones are going to get on the Fed Ex flight?

UPS 99 will be going from Incheon to Anchorage. I think the replacement for my lost iPhone is on that flight.

No, UPS and FedEx are competitors. They do not take each others packages on their own flights to help out their competition. It appears that UPS often doesn't have their flights listed until the last minute. Mine has been stuck in Incheon for days, but it's slated for Thursday delivery and that should still be easily doable. No worries...

My phone is due for delivery in Orlando, FL tomorrow and is in Louisville right now. I tried checking for flights but it doesn't look like there are any "scheduled", so here's hoping one pops up.
I don't have a departure scam from Korea...there is no way that it can be sitting for another day!
It takes time for UPS's system to update with the departure scan. Don't worry, it should be on it's way to Anchorage right now.
I don't either, only arrival scan...hopefully it's on the plane, but tracking isn't update yet
My iPhone 5s gold 64 gig AT&T left bud lake nj this morning at 7:31. Should be by me after I get home from work at around 5:30 just like the case I got from apple on Thursday. Yippy! Today is good day regardless of what's going on.
Edit: I was wrong about arrival time. Just checked tracking and it delivered already. Sitting at my from door waiting for me to get home from work. I just checked the radar for the east coast and it looks like some heavy rain is come. I hope ups put my phone in a bag.

I'm located in queens , it's been on departed Louisville for a while now. I have preauthorized signature set up since I won't be home . So I won't have to worry about missing the package
