Carrier 7/7+ O2 UK Pre-order thread

I rang the store who I selected to Click and Collect from and they told me that they had stock of the model I'd ordered but they couldn't give me one as that's "their stock" and my phone is coming from "onlines" stock and it needs to be delivered to the store and put onto the system.

Absolute joke of a company. STOCK IS STOCK.

Surely just cancel your online order and get one from the store?

I've spoken to customer service about being told my order would be delivered today this morning, to then be told it's out of stock when I called about an hour ago.

I pointed out that lying to customers was completely unacceptable and I wished to speak to a manager.

I got called back pretty quickly considering the day they must be having, and was told the following, "We've received a message from our despatch team, we are receiving another delivery of 7 plus' later today and another tomorrow, all pre orders supposed to be fulfilled by the release date will be out for delivery by Monday"

Hopefully, that's true and gives us all some hope of not having to wait too long!

Reckon this is pure fantasy. Hope not though! Will check here and the O2 forums to see if there is movement on the 7+

Haha had another chat and was told my phone could come in the next 4 days...literally no one in the company knows a thing right now. They're just picking dates out of thin air!!

I've been told I would receive either today or tomorrow, then it was being dispatched today, then within 4 days, then within 6 weeks, then within 48 hours and latest is they can't tell me!
 
My JetBlack iPhone 7 128GB has been dispatched. Email received at 17:56. Ordered at 8:20 / 8:30 am on 9/9

Mine says next working day delivery so I'm assuming it's going to be Monday although I thought they might have put them for Saturday delivery given their slight screw up.

Mine says next working day as well, but when I go to change the delivery date, the first option it gives me is Sunday!
Still waiting for it to be collected to see if I get any more info then!
 
I'm a new customer so don't see anything in My O2 and I take it I won't see anything until I actually activate my phone. I won't get any tracking number or information as I chose Click & Collect.

How did you track it as mine doesn't show up on DPD.

Got my email, tracking number doesn't work yet.

Any idea if we will have to wait until Monday since it's next working day?

Who knows! Im just off Live Chat who have assured me its coming tomorrow, but it still hasn't changed from "Were expecting your package shorty"!
For a communications company, O2 really have been terrible at communicating!😡

Interesting they said it will be with you tomorrow despite being next "working" day. The delivery systems can sometimes take a while to update.

I'm hopeful mine will be with me tomorrow and not Monday.

They told me tomorrow as well :/ I'm not even in the house tomorrow ahhh.
