Taking a work at home day. If the phones arrive early I will probably go into the office after swinging by the mall to enjoy a little of the release day merriment.

Wow forgot that Futurama starts up again the same day! That's now on my list also. Since i probably won't be getting my phone til July 2nd earliest (waiting on the white version), I'll be in summer classes bored outta my freakin' mind, reading the posts here
I'll have the day off. I'll probably sleep in so as much time as possible passes. If it delivers by Fedex, I'll hopefully have my phone by around 11 AM...if UPS then more like 4 PM. The rest of the day will be spent playing with my new toy.
AT&T "ships on or after June 24th"
Do preorders made at AT&T stores the morning of June 15th SHIP on June 24 or are they expected to be RECEIVED on June 24? I placed my order first thing, got through, and received email confirmation all before noon on June 15th. My confirmation email says "Ships on or after June 24". This would indicate to me that the earliest I get the phone is June 25th.

AT&T is FedEx and Apple is UPS, I believe.
It depends, I've seen it shipped both ways.
For both personal and business, probably 95% of my Apple shipments have come via FedEx, but a lot of that probably has to do with my location in relation to Apple and the cheapest shipping methods for them.
I will be getting up pretty early on the 24th and heading to my local o2 shop in Cheltenham, UK.
They aren't doing preorders and I have been told that people are queuing from 7, but I may just have to get there a little earlier than that =]. I really can't wait to upgrade from my 8GB 3G. I'm getting the 32GB model (hopefully)

Yeah what djransom says. I read "orders will start being fullfilled on the 24th" In my hopeful mind "fullfilled" means unit transferred to buyer and transaction closed. If not .. will have to check my calendar for Friday. Wouldn't it be a drag to see a "must sign for this, will try again Monday" delivery slip on the door if I missed a Friday delivery
