Idk what American exceptionalism has to do with anything in this thread.

But yeah this is rather crazy if you ask me.

I'm sorry, I forgot we have members who buy into that bull ****.

American exceptionalism- at it's finest. :D

Not really. They've been selling it for years at 7-11s in Singapore.

There are more than 500 7-11s in Singapore, with a population of 5 million. You can't throw a rock in Singapore without breaking a 7-11 window.

Are we trying to out do the Japanese for the title of 'Craziest-****-You-Can-Buy- Out-Of-A-Vending-Machine'?

That just sounds disgusting.

I'll keep my 2am drunk runs to 7-11 purely for Taquitos. :p

Gross! Honestly, it isn't that hard to put potatoes in the microwave and do it yourself. Peel them, mash them, add some seasoning/whatever, and boom.

Or, pound the remainder of your Mountain Dew Big Gulp, pop the lid, and refill that chalice with some "fresh" mashed and gravy with the simple depression of a lever.

This could be a big winner at the movie theater, and can make use of the existing butter and salt dispensing infrastructure.

I was thinking more of a cardboard funnel, and dispense with the cup.

Just a head-rest under the spigot would do nicely.

I could get into that. If they put it right next to the bacon dispenser, it'd be tough to leave. Maybe you get your own personal headrest after your tenth visit... in a day.

As an American connoisseur, call me when they have a Meatloaf Button.
Here you go... yw

I'm morbidly curious about this, not because I think it will be good... but several questions must be answered like:
  1. Is it warm?
  2. Are both the gravy and potato powdered?
  3. What's the daily intake of salt on this 'treat'?
  4. Can I use a slupee straw to eat it?
:D

Is it warm?

Yes, because warm water is required to reconstitute the ingredients.

Are both the gravy and potato powdered?

See above, but yes.

What's the daily intake of salt on this 'treat'?

Probably 100% of your daily recommended intake, otherwise they would have a hard time getting it past the Food & Drug Administration.

Can I use a Slurpee straw to eat it?

Only if you are insane. ;)

This has become disturbingly accurate.
