I believe that I get it just fine, thanks. It's the fact that it changed with others who have phones stateside already.
Never in the history of my preorders have I waited over two days for something to change from PFS to shipped.
That was my complaint. Not that I didn't understand the concept of the status

Ya, they've said that **** to me millions of times just go down there with the tracking number and your ID and they will give you the package. That's how it's ALWAYS worked out for me. UPS and FEDEX when yo call they always say you can't come pick it up but when I have, they have always given me my package no problem.

That's complete false hope with no PFS, charge, UPS, Support Profile, etc.

same exact boat... not literally. although at this point at least if it was on a boat id know it had movement.
Already shared my story on the Sprint Forum (don't give me that look), but I called last night and got a person that was actually helpful (shocker). He contacted order support after asking him if I would possibly receive my phone before Oct 7, and they told him it would be delivered Monday. 7+ 128GB

anything is possible. ive had phones arrive in a little over a day on launch from china. i know apple wants people to get them as soon as possible so people that didnt order can gawk and then order their own. they seem to do this every year with all new products. wait till te new macbook pros come out. i bet its the same ordeal as ive gone through that one too.
Still no movement for me. I got PFS over 36 hours ago. I ordered iPhone 7+ 128gb JB ATT with an original date of 9/26-10/3. This is frustrating. I really really hope we ship soon. I've never seen PFS for this long.
First off, I've never seen a phone stay at preparing for shipment for weeks. Second, what purpose do your negative comments help? If you don't have anything positive to contribute, why are you here? Let us hope and dream. Life is depressing enough without people like you making it worse.

Would probably have cancelled by now if they hadn't already locked me in by moving me to "preparing for shipping"...i'm still convinced that's why they did it, before the Friday launch to discourage folks from going to the store in person, and then cancelling their online orders.

You're probably right. I could have gotten a 7+ today by reserving & walking into a retail store today. They had every colour available but JB. So much for "all available stock was used up fulfilling preorders".
Woke up to Preparing For Shipment, and CC charged. I'll take it after 8 days of nothing!

the status of moving from PFS to Shipped probably will not change until sometime Sunday evening. Not much movement usually over the weekends. That has been my experience in the last 10 years of doing these preorders.
