I think it really depends on who your carrier is. From what I've seen in this thread, it's mostly Verizon and AT&T phones that are moving.
October 4-10 date here, been PFS since the night of the sixteenth. Not in MyUPS Choice or reference tracking (order number minus last two digits or phone number).

My order just got pushed back from 9/20 to 9/21 no explaination given - still need to order a skin so I'm not super concerned but any delay is annoying.
Lol im giving up hope seeing everyone who ordered with apple get their phones before me. Im going to give it until Friday. No tracking by then, its gonna be time to forget about the jet black and get the matte black lol. Im tired of my phone now and tbh color isnt THAT important.

What was your original shipping date? Mine was October 4-10, been PFS for over two days now...no shipment email or UPS information. I'm hoping to receive mine by Thursday or Friday (Jet Black 256GB).

Mine is 9/30-10/7...ive been PFS for 10 days today lol...no movement on my account. I lost all hope lol. I do want the jet black but not if I have to wait until 2017 to get it lol. Eff that
My phone is on that UPS 99 flight that will land in anchorage in about 30 mins. Still have a 9/20 delivery date, despite the phone arriving in Louisville at about 1 AM local time (12AM my time). How they are going to get it from Louisville to my door in Madison,WI in 10 hours is beyond me

I ordered through ATT directly if that matters...idk but if i dont have my phone by the end of this week att can go suck a fat one lol.
lol I just called Apple and basically complained that same point. The rep only apologized. YMMV It appears 256GB JB 7+ ships faster than 128GB.
I moved off of AT&T years ago, they were lame then and still seem pretty lame now. Good luck, though. I ordered through the apple app store and purchased a T-Mobile variant.
I am rooting for you to be right. However, our 9/20 UPS scheduled delivery is not looking promising. Be prepared for 9/21 or 9/22 because of customs.
It's great to see movement on the 10/18 crowd but has anyone who didn't complete their order until much later in the day after receiving the "reserved a phone for you" email had any luck yet?
I'm not gonna lose hope yet. A few people have called and they said it would still be here tomorrow. Only one person called and said it may be delayed due to customs.

Gonna give it another day or two and then cancel and just try to reserve a MB in store. The battery on my 6+ lasts for maybe 3 hours on a good day and I can't stand it.
