It's great to see movement on the 10/18 crowd but has anyone who didn't complete their order until much later in the day after receiving the "reserved a phone for you" email had any luck yet?
And here I thought I was the only one that got an email like that... all I read is how everyone somehow ordered a minute after store opened online... ;).... anyone else out there? I have no movement.. and I "ordered" xx:15
 
Yeah but since i ordered through ATT its been saying PFS since a couple of hours after I put my order in on 9/9 so I know thats BS.

I think their tracking is way off. Tuesday delivery for me, and it's still in China. Although a friend of mine said the same thing then the day of, it listed every destination, and out for delivery, soooo... just have to wait till tomorrow for sure.

Me too. Delivery still shows 9/20 between 3 and 6 PM

Don't stress it guys. My JB Plus made it from 2 different parts in China then to Alaska, then to louisville and then departed pittsburgh. This was all from late thursday night into very early friday morning. I received it today, which was the day I was quoted by UPS
 
Just want to provide an update to those still tracking. I'm in the 10/4 - 10/10 window for two jet black iPhone 7 Pluses. I preordered one 128 GB with a 3:11 AM confirmation and one 256 GB with a 3:14 AM confirmation time. Both were ordered on 9/9.

Both phones went to preparing for shipping status early Saturday morning, around 12:20 AM, shortly after my card was charged tax for both phones. Both phones sat in preparing for shipping for roughly 60 hours.

This morning I woke up to a shipment email from Apple at 9:05 AM saying the 256 GB had shipped. Two hours later, a shipment confirmation for the 128 GB followed. UPS said I'd have both by end of day Wednesday, 9/21. I called the 800 number and requested to have both phones held at my local UPS center. The rep confirmed the change and said I could actually likely pick the phones up tomorrow, provided I keep checking the tracking to verify they make it here before I go. Obviously she said they're guaranteed for Wednesday if tomorrow ends up failing.

Both phones are AT&T. Both phones are appearing in my support profile and I have tracking for both (obviously).

There has not been a status change for either phone within UPS since 11:30 PM local time (arrival scan). At this point I'm doubtful it'll make it to my customer center for pick up tomorrow, unless UPS just hasn't updated recently, so I'm banking on Wednesday regardless.

In any case, tracking has been fun, can't wait to do it again next year. Definitely part of the preorder experience :D.

(No but seriously I wanna see how easily it scratches with REAL WORLD use, not videos of people purposefully scratching it).

Mine laid on a microfiber cloth during the glass shield installation and then went directly into a Spigen clear gel case with a metallic bumper. I baby my  products lol. I'll do everything I can to prevent any sort of scratches. Although within a years time, I do expect some.
 
I agree with your comments. I have seen this happen since 2007 as I've been ordering the iPhone for 10 years UPS is always slow to update their tracking during this time
What about those people who saw their date slip to the 21st? Why only some of them?
 
Not gonna lie... I'm actually kinda salty over getting pushed back a day. Yeah sure it's only one day, we've already waited almost 11 days, so what is one more? But if UPS knew they were cutting it so tight, why on earth would you give that date? I thought UPS usually pulls on-time deliveries outta their a$$ (especially when the shipping type is so high). First time for everything I guess. What makes it worse is that everyone's from Friday somehow expressed themselves to Kentucky overnight, reaching local hubs on a Saturday. Where's the haste now? LOL :rolleyes::mad:

Sorry everyone, I felt like I need to vent a little. Here's hoping tomorrow will be a better day for all of us! :D

Can you post a pic with the case? Mines going in a clear case too. Which glass protector did you use? I'm also worried about dust getting between the case and phone and scratching it so I might get a skin too.
