I've got a feeling those of us with a 9/22 delivery, but still sitting in China are going to see our delivery dates bumped...

Dunno about that, because quite a few of us just got an origin scan from Zhengzhou with a 9/22 delivery.

Is there anyone with an October 10th or 18th week ship date whose device shipped who DIDN'T sign up for AUP/IUP? I did a full price purchase AT&T on mine

Mine shipped and due for delivery 9/22. I was full price Verizon. Orig del. 10/18-10/31.

My Verizon 7+ JB 128gb has a 9/23 shipping date, but I still don't have CC charged or any new info since the confirmation email at 2:20am (central) on the 9th....how are people with October dates getting ahead of mine with tracking info already??

The real research to do now is:

Those who convinced Apple to ship expedited and paid the extra $8 did they get their phones yet and what was their original PFS, confirmation email etc.

Regretting not calling in and arguing for expedited shipping now...

Doesn't make a difference. Mine was upgraded for free, and still sat in China for 48 hours and now still sitting in Korea, missing flights. I'm so used to seeing things move fast when they're over on that side of the globe from Apple, so this is extremely disappointing.

I don't think expedited shipping makes a difference, it gets to you as quickly as it can from the factory. overnight is more or less impossible. If you look at the apple store fine print, all iPhone orders ship expedited (whether that's 1-2 days because they're already stateside or 3-4 days because they're overseas is another story)

Bumped back.

No way it's going to arrive in two days if it hasn't even left China yet.

Just sayin....temper expectations in spite of what UPS tells you.

Completely disagree... As long as our phones leave China at 430am ET tomorrow, they should be out for delivery on Thursday. See tracking for my wife's phone that shipped out a couple days before me... It's out for delivery today...

Really annoyed. My phone with initially predicted delivery date (by UPS) of tomorrow is now rescheduled for Thurs delivery. Why would Apple use Express Saver shipping for a launch when things were already backordered? Regretting not calling in and arguing for expedited shipping now...
Looks like those of us with the ship of 9/19 many have the 11:30pm Arrival Scan in Zhengzhou and had either a 9/21 or 9/22 arrival now have been pushed a day. However, I spoke to UPS support and they are still claiming they are on time :) Not sure if I believe that. UPS is clearly overloaded in Zhengzhou with only the 1 flight in late afternoon and there is nothing they can really do at this point.

Sounds like this batch has been sitting there for 24 hours due to customs and hopefully will make the 4:00pm China time flight to Incheon or this will be pushed another day. Its only 1am Wed in China now, so we continue to wait and see if they can get those pallets in gear to send over to Korea.

That's wishful thinking! So what flight would that be once that ends up happening any idea? No updates since 11:30pm Monday china time.

That's the weird thing, there aren't actually any UPS flights that I could find that go from ZhengZhou to Incheon. I'm not sure if they are trucking them there or not?

There is a UPS flight that goes from Zhengzhou to Incheon (Seoul) at ~4:20pm China time according to other posters that have shipped out of CGO. My guess is that they try to get everything ready/processed through customs and loaded for that flight to Korea. Our batch sat around yesterday (Tuesday in China) and didn't get on the Incheon flight so they continue to sit until hopefully they go out tonight. It goes from Zhengzhou->Incheon, then from Incheon->Anchorage->Louisville->your hub. Hopefully once it gets out of China then it will start moving. I imagine the capacity from Zhengzhou to Korea is pretty limited point in the supply chain.

My package is stuck in Korea. Guess I didn't make the flight out. Contacted UPS and they stated:
"I was able to get more details. Apple has a contract with UPS in which if they exceed the amount of packages they ship during a certain day, UPS will have to reschedule the extra packages and yours was affected by this delay"

Very Frustrated!
If this is true, it might explain why people's phones are getting stuck in ZhengZhou as well.

You wont be able to track them. The only ones that are traceable are passenger flights. According to this article from 2012, UPS has a cargo flight going from both locations (article stated a 767 but this was from 2012: http://www.chinaaviationdaily.com/news/21/21683.html

They can't truck them, they would have to drive through North Korea, which definitely isn't happening. My only guess is that Apple or (more likely) a contractor gets them from ZhengZhou to Incheon - and that is probably where the holdup is.

I spent a half hour on the phone with UPS just now getting passed from one uninformed individual to the next. They refused to refer me to someone who might actually know what's going on. So I think I'll be be in touch my lawyer about filing a suit against UPS for lost wages and other expenses incurred.

So mine is showing a departure scan from Zhenzhou at 12:28 (approximately 45 minutes ago)

I can't tie it to a flight, but it is showing that it departed heading somewhere!

Thanks for the update. It's weird that we can see all the other UPS flights except for that one.

It's going to get an arrival scan back in ZhengZhou... I think they transfer it to a different hub there.

Is this normal once I called ups to hold at hub in my city haha I don't want to fly to china -.- especially since I'll be stuck too

Actually mine's now en-route to Anchorage. So I have a reasonable chance of delivery tomorrow based on past experience. It then goes to Louisville and then to the local hub for delivery.

Safe to say they are probably manufacturing more JB, since there hasn't been anything for the people still processing Yesterday or Today (so far)?

Hmm, so about 40 minutes later... It's likely going from the warehouse to the airport. I presume the next departure is then on the flight to Seoul?
