I have both. So I definitely do not think the OP is crazy if they want to go with the SE over the 7. I absolutely love the form factor of the SE compared to the 7. If you don't watch videos or do much gaming, the SE is a fantastic little device. I do miss 3D Touch, but it definitely is not a deal breaker.

Why did you keep 7 if you love SE? Don't mean to be incriminating just curious

My 6s plus collected dust for a while, and then I sold it and got a 7+ and paid price difference, I like having latest tech. And a phablet and a mini phone. Both feel odd but awesome haha

Had a 7 briefly. Grew bored and disappointed battery was way worse than SE that it had temporarily beencsuccesor to

I use the 7 primarily for work. Plus, I'm one of those that likes having a backup device even though I have AC+ on my 7.

So you have the 7+ and SE? That is like having the best of both worlds. I opted for the 7 since I do a lot of video consuming on my iPad anyway.

yeah 7+ and SE is a great combination!

there are some days I just dont want all that slab of tech in my pocket, and want to be casually checking things

A9 on the 4" screen with 2GB of ram and 9.3.3 and jailbroken, SCREAMS performance.

Not sure I've seen anything like it, since Tim's takeover of Apple, barring iPhone 5/ IOS 6

What is so good about the 9.3.3 jailbroken? Just curious...

You know, if Apple would make an iPhone 7 Plus size device, using the shape of the SE, I'd be very happy. And, and, wait for it, I wouldn't even use a case...

Does anyone have both?

7+ and SE here,
SE on 9.3.3 jailbroken

That's smart decision, one big for video clips, browsing and one small for calls.
iPhone SE is fit nice in hand and pocket and it's very handsome compare to other thinner and bigger cell phones.

I would never use jailbreak on my iPhone.
Because of that I choose iPhone rather than androids,
because everything is original, official and I feel safer somehow.
Maybe that's not true but I feel like that.

Returning the 7 JB and sticking with an SE SG.. both just as quick for actual tasks, and although 3D Touch is a nice idea, very few apps support it, and without indication of where it is actually implemented, it's more satisfying not to have it at all.

I'm very satisfied with my iPhone SE.
And he is exactly great for first iPhone, great to people meet with iOS. but between iPhone 7 and SE I would chosen iPhone 7. But not to sell SE and to upgrade on 7. Both in same time. :) SE as souvenir, iPhone 7 as main cell phone. Simply design of iPhone 5s/SE is incredible and after few years.

I'd wait till March for an updated SE.
Is the SE going to be upgraded in March for sure? I have a launch day iPhone 6 Plus that's over 2 years old now. With no more subsidies from AT&T I refuse to pay $800 for a phone.

I love the huge screen but I think I like the $449 price tag of the SE better.

I could have gotten an SE or a 7. I went with the 7 as I plan on keeping it for a few years. I figured better processor and more storage (128gb) would allow me to use it for years to come.

I have a 12.9 IPP so I think my big screen needs are met. I'd like to sell my iPhone 6 Plus and get an SE. I'm very interested in the 2 GB of ram.
