Ah this is more good info. I will do that as well.

I think i will be re listing this item with all the good info found here.

This time i will put some time into it and take a better picture.

Thanks for all your feedback.

What do you think all of this is worth ? would i still get about 450 + for it ? Should i sell the phone seperated than the cases etc ?

I Suggest you unlock it as unlocked iPhones go for more than locked ones do.. (More buyers than just at&t customers)

scam...let the auction finish do not take it down for someone offering you a really high price or anyone for that matter..

do not end the auction early for offers, they're most likely scams, even if they say it's from paypal. I fell for that on my first time selling on ebay, and the guy ended up sending me fake paypal emails, that were convincing, but obvious since I realized nothing was actually transferred to my account

It's a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

They are willing to pay that much and end early because they've hijacked someone account and want to drain it as quickly as possible because the person reports and has it locked.

if you took the bid they will pay you via paypal and then say "i paypal is messing up/i moved recently and need you to send it to: INSERT THIEF'S ADDRESS."

It's a scam, plain and simple. And if you emailed all the other ppl selling their iphones on ebay next to you, they also go the same emails... guarantee it.

Yup fake confirmation emails with that show a transferred amount with your account number in it also works. But when u actually log into your paypal and check the balance, you will notice no money...

HUH 700 ?? Mine is up there now with 2 Vaja cases, Incase, DLO case, Invisible Shield and the iphone is a 16G and its at 450 with no bids. How the heck did you get that much for your s ? i need some tips :)

you need to start your auction at a lower price. dont worry, the ebaydiots will bid her up:cool:

I know you don't want to let it go for less, but IMO, a starting bid of $450 is too high. Surely it will surpass that, but people don't want to start there. I'd lower it about $100. I think the first few bids will take it up to where you're trying to start now, then you'll get a bidding war. People want to feel like they are getting a deal. Then they will realize that they won't get it cheaper elsewhere and they'll start bidding away. Starting price is the "hook".

Just for fun, I always add a Buy it Now, like I mentioned previously, but that is personal preference of course.

What would you recommend for a Buy It Now price and starting price for a 4GB iPhone? I'm just about ready to list mine and could use some advise.

Thanks

i sold my 8gb gen 1 this week with a $500 buyout and it was taken on the second day of the auction. i started the auction at 200 and it went up from 200 to 450 in 1 day then someone bought it out. though i would have too since i put in a buyout incentive of a nice barely used pair of Ultimate Ears Super.fi 4vi headphones with mic for the iPhone. (since they dont work with my 3g )

Was watching an auction yesterday for the iPhone 8GB unlocked SOFTWARE and that went for $370. The way the auction was posted was that at first it appeared to be the actual original 8GB iPhone but was really the software for unlocking that is everywhere!

Someone must have been very pi&&ed later!
