How do you load the toilet paper on the dispenser?

  • I load it so that the paper goes over top of the roll.

I always load the dispenser so that the toilet paper goes over top of the roll. At work, I get annoyed when people load it so that the paper goes under the roll. It means I have to reach further, which means that I have to work harder. I don't like that.

So, how do you load the toilet paper on the dispenser?
 
Over the top. My husband loads it so that it dispenses from the bottom. I buy the softest toilet paper I can find so it clings to itself which makes it especially hard to find where the end is. Add to that the rather large, wooden, solid despenser, and I spend 5 minutes trying to get out of the bathroom.:rolleyes: I change it every time. Maybe that's why, lately, he hasn't even been replacing it. I'm not complaining!:p
 
funny this thread should pop up, because i just left the bathroom at work grumbling that someone had loaded the TP incorrectly. :p

over the top for me...it just makes sense.
 
I rarely even put it on the roll but I prefer under. Easier to dispense.
 
no option for corn cobs? ;)

Under the roll, for me. Yes, I will take the roll off and change it, if it's on "wrong".

Looking at the poll so far, it looks like you're wrong. :D

I also take the roll off and change it if it's on "wrong". At work, it seems like every other time a new roll is put on, it's backwards, so I change it to the "correct" way. I'm in a toilet paper roll battle with someone in the office... who can it be?
 
Under. Sometimes over. Usually under.

I don't know why. Probably depends on the phase of the moon..

I'm glad I'm not the only one who rarely puts it on the roll....I'm lazy and just leave it on the top of the toilet tank :D

I do prefer over though, sometimes when it's under and you pull it towards you, it gets caught on the roll and rips before you get the amount you want

It just feels right...like everything is good in the world.
But when it's under...things get so confusing, I get disorientated and start to wonder if there's a purpose to life.
 
Over the top, so when you flick it, the end pops up just out of convenience. I hate it when my husband loads it from the bottom. He's left handed too, to he's generally backwards :p
 
Now, over the top. but when my son learned to walk til he was 4 years it was always underneath.
 
81% prefer over the top. I wonder haw this compares to a world wide poll. do some cultures prefer under instead of over? we need to get our best scientists on this now!
 
The correct way...over the top, of course!

Fun tip:
Mount a TP roll on a yard blower to dispense a LOT of TP in a short amount of time.

I saw some neighborhood punks completely TP a front yard in a about 30 seconds. The minimal time spent was impressive. Perhaps they will be process auditors someday.
